Eh? Aosaw's sheet is up. Granted, he did set the text's color to black so it's a tad hard to recognize.

@Fiyero: Ok, thank you.
@Owen/Aosaw: Whoops, I feel stupid.

Happens to the best of us. I recall one time I managed to link to the DM's profile page instead of my sheet which was awkward all around.
Anyway, looks like a rough today so I may be a bit slow getting my intro post up. Gives me some time to think about it at least, though.

Take your time. I'd like to hope for a post a day, but that doesn't seem like it'll be happening. 3 or 4 per week should be fine, and give us a decent pace.

Eh, it happens. I would like everyone's post by Friday, though.

Unless I have a burst of inspiration for a replacement for Lyrin, I don't know if I'll make it by friday.
I don't even know what classes people are playing.

Oracle, Paladin, Wizard, Bard, and Fighter as far as I can tell. So a divine caster, an arcane caster, that half-and-half caster thing bards do, a fighting-divine casting combo, and a fighter.
Looks like to me you're free to do anything you want Trin. Cleric would be nice, but in theory the Oracle would do just a good a job healing as the Cleric would. And with Bard and a Paladin backing up the Oracle no less.

Channel Energy is the bees knees (in my experience), especially if you've got the CHA to back it up. This makes Clerics and Paladins all sorts of awesome, though the latter's probably using it to heal himself as a swift action in my experience. Just having the Cure X Wounds spells is sort of bleh by comparison.
As for classes we seem to be playing (and pardon me of I'm making assumptions, I'm not meaning to offend), but it looks like we've got: Alcide Blanchard, scholar and general skillmonkey, king of skillpoints. Also has bard stuff. Brom Chutzer (yours truly), reach fighter and presumably hard hitter. Brother Anthony, main battle tank, smiter of evil, back-up healer. Jak 'I'm totally gonna be an Eldritch Knight' Sterling, see nickname. Gabriel Glass, uh, flame oracle? Honestly not sure what he's going for mechanically. Dunno why you're thinking to replace Lyrin, but mechanically she slots in pretty nicely already, I'd think (Oracles and Clerics don't overlap as badly as Wizards and Sorcerers do, I think). If I'm right about Jak, a dedicated arcanist couldn't hurt. Or say to hells with party balance and do whatever.

I like Lyrin, but I think we all understand if you'd rather play something you would enjoy more.

Ha! Eldritch Knight.
That's not a bad idea, incidentally. I hadn't considered taking any prestige classes with him, but Eldritch Knight might work. I'd planned on being a full caster, but with most of my spell selection going towards utility, a more blasting-oriented arcanist would probably be helpful. But we'll probably be okay either way. Jak has a way of learning useful and powerful spells without realizing their possible applications until much later. |

I can't use her since her god (I thought it was going to be core when I made her, and it's not) doesn't exist; and the other options didn't really fit to my way of thinking.

Like I said, I'd love it if you stuck around- but the character concept phase is always the hardest part.

I assume you've asked Prometheus about it? I was under the impression he was gonna be lenient in allowing deities but maybe that changed. (Brom was going to be a multiclassed Fighter/Cleric of Erastil, but that got dropped pretty quick as I fleshed the character out).
Well, good luck in any case. I'd hate to see you leave, too. As for the Eldritch Knight thing - I see a high strength score and some stats heavily sacrificed for it and I make an assumption. I actually played a wizard who had (by choice) a solid smattering of physical scores with no intent to go EK either, so I can see the appeal of that in any case. (He was basically a dungeon-delving archaeologist who happened to pick up magic, though, not a blacksmith.) Shame that game died off.
