Plot Summary Gundam RISE, GUNDAM! It is the year 0179 of the Universal Century. A century plus has passed since Earth began moving its burgeoning population into gigantic orbiting space colonies. A new home for mankind,where people are born and raised. And die. 100 years ago, the cluster of colonies furthest from the Earth, called Side 3, proclaimed itself the Principality of Zeon and launched a war of independence against the Earth Federation. Initial fighting lasted over one month and saw both sides lose half their respective populations. People were horrified by the indescribable atrocities that had been committed in the name of independence. Eight months had passed since the rebellion began. They were at a stalemate. The Gundam was created Zeon was stopped. Peace began. Another conflict then peace again. Since then there have been companies vying for control of Mobile Suit production. The main contracts go to Earth Companies. But the 2 Gundam contracts go to EDF(Earth Defense Force) and ACI(Allied Colony Inc) Mobile Suit manufacturing has become a major source of revenue. But between separation from earth, and anger over lack of colony contracts, causes strife between earth and some of the colonies. Taking advantage of this is the new Zed Zeon faction. That believes not only in separation from earth rule. But in killing all non Spaciods. They took over a colony that's been abandoned since the old war. Half destroyed it was never repaired (except the newly installed engines). And sent it hurling towards earth. It crashed in the pacific. Even after ripping apart and partially burning up in the atmosphere. It's impact in the ocean caused tidal waves and earth quakes. Killing hundreds of thousands of people living on earth. That was 8 years ago. And the new war has started. This is the graduating class of EDF MS cadets. Under Lt. Striker You are about to join the ship Andromeda to learn if you can cut it in the war against Zed Zeon. Welcome to the war-torn world of Mobile Suit Gundam. plot Zed Zeon wants to kill all Earthnoids. 8 years of war. And the EDF is still fighting to stop them. Each player is a EDF MS Academy cadet in their final year. Assigned to train under Lt Striker. And his first strike Gundam. Aboard the ship Andromeda. Training missions can be many things. All MS academy students will have a MS/vehicle. They are training with. But not everything happens in a mobile suit. Students want to be Gundam pilots, aces, or maybe just the best engineer in the EDF. You don't have to always pilot to reach your goals but it's the first step. The Executant The Fighter The Infiltrator The Newtype The Scout The Sentinel The Engineer Academy: the MS academy is a 4 year course. The youngest Allowed to join is 15 years.This is the graduating class making everyone a minimum of 18 no exceptions. The oldest is 29yo. If you are ove 30 and haven't graduated your considered unfit for the MS program. No exceptions. Starting mech will be on pgs 170-174. Nothing over 100k gilli. (You won't need this till selected. But its always fun to look.) Chs: can only be avg colonists, ACI personnel that have 6year contracts with EDF, or earthnoid. As all chs are currently serving the EDF. No companies, corporations ect are allowed to join the EDF. So you can't be from one. Hence none are currently named. app What I'm looking for: Name: Race: Class: Appearance: image and description. Very interesting. Watched some of the anime , read Gundum novels. I want to look over the link but definitely thinking of applying- possibly with spacenoid/new type.

I found seed on line as I have some of it and destiny I figured it'd be fun. Kinda reverse, yet not. Earth blows up a colony as a response to a war declaration. Now a group wants all earth dead... so it goes lol. Wing the colonies start as the good guys then turn bad. So there's lots of versions.

I think I am game to try this...I like anime but the generous nature of episodes work against my attention span. Maybe this will be a little easier to stay interested in since I'm writing the anime story of my character.

Justice or Revenge?: Name: Marie Hogan Race: Spacenoid Age: 18 years old Class: Engineer Appearance: Marie is slight, to say the least but that ends with her height because her engineers coveralls and oversized flight-suit jacket that she wears always hides a slender yet toned body from lifting heavy parts, wrenching around and repairing Mobile Suits. She stands around five foot and four inches. She has clear blue eyes and silver-gray hair naturally from birth not from old age as she looks like your average eighteen year old girl in the face. Small, delicate features and pale, unwrinkled skin tell everything about her age if she isn't smeared in engine grease, that is, but she usually is. She wears traditional orange engineer's overalls with her oversized flight suit jacket that is black with orange accents. She always keeps her hair back with a blue handkerchief tied around her head, a gift from her mother. Backstory: Marie was ten years old when the colony crashed to the Earth, her mother was on the Zed Zeon side and died in the event. She joined the academy in order to learn how to build a better gundam so she could take it to the Zed Zeon.   -Marie is an only child raised by her mother, Patricia Hogan. -Patricia was a freelance engineer and taught Marie everything she knows. -Patricia was recruited by Zed Zeon unknowing of their true agenda. -Patricia tried to warn Earth of the cataclysmic, war-starting event but got caught by Zed Zeon. -Patricia was locked inside the colony ship when it went crashing down as punishment. -Marie joined the Gundam Academy in order to fight against the Zed Zeon.

All academy students are trained to pilot mobile suits. This will be on your mobile suit sheet(a second ch sheet) your class as a ch is technically engineer/pilot. Or fighter/pilot. And so on. As it's implied you don't need to list the pilot part of class.

So I see your ch has engineer class. This means you could be in the academy to learn what makes 1 mobile suit better than the other so you can make better ones. Or your using your skills to get into a Mobile suit so you can take revenge. Maybe a bit of both.(The best mobile suits come from someone who has used one. There's an idea then there's putting it in action. Lots of cheaper MS out there built off an idea. Then there's Gundams built with full understanding of the idea.)

After looking things over I totally went another direction. The Sentinel (Paladin type) struck me as more of the newtype I would want to play than the actual newtype class.

Name: Zakaria "Zak" Reynolds

Age: 19
Appearance: Zak's wild hair was silver-gray from birth. He occasionally tries to tame it with a comb, but it never takes. When it gets to long he simply hacks it off. While grey hair on one so young is often startling, it is by no means his most startling feature - which are his bright green eyes. They hold a surprising amount of sadness.
Backstory: Zak comes from a middle-class family. His mother was a nurse and his father worked in construction. Zak was their third and youngest child, and as the baby was spoilled endlessly. Their family was not involved in the war, preferring to remain blissfully ignorant. All that changed when the colony fell. Overnight Zak lost his parents and his older brother, only his eldest sibling survived - and only because she had earned the dubious task of babysitting Zak. She had to grow up fast and become the bread winner. She followed her mother into nursing, and did her best by Zak. He saw how much it wore on her and the minute he could, he signed up for the Academy. He knew his parents wouldn't have approved, but he felt he had to join the war - nor for revenge but to protect those who could not protect themselves. So that no one else had to grow up without parents. He trained hard, developing something of a sixth sense in and out of the cockpit, constantly working toward the day he could put his talents to work saving others. That day came sooner than expected - an incident occurred during training that resulted in an injury that held him back almost a year. He and a fellow cadet were cleaning the maintenance bay when Zack suddenly got the sense something was wrong. When an unexploded piece of ordinance cooked off during attempts to remove it, the resulting explosion engulfed the hanger in flames and sent shrapnel flying. Zak knocked his fellow cadet behind cover and threw himself over him. They escaped the shrapnel but Zak suffered severe burns to his back and spent several months recovering. Through it all he remained determined to complete the academy.

Technically your ch can be up to age 29. So either they joind late or failed alot....but hey that's life
