Chasing a 5E fix

Hey what's up? I'm sure what to say, so I'll jump right into experience. Lol. I picked up my first DND book about 15 years ago and have been role playing ever since. I just recently picked the game back up and DM on the weekends, but I'm jonesing for a player experience. So, here I am. Feel free to point me in the direction of any cool 5e games. I'm not picky on setting

Hey Eadsmire! You are in luck, 5E is very popular on the site right now. You can always sign up for a New Player Solo game. Also, check out the Games Seeking Players forums. Take a look at what is there and see what fits your fancy. There are games that take applications for grand adventures, and others that you can jump into and play right away.

As has been said, 5e is very popular right now. I can't suggest enough that you sign up for your new player solo game. It's a great way to get up to speed on PbP and the site's functions.

I also suggest giving other systems a try. PbP is perfect for trying new stuff. You have plenty of time between posts to double check rules and plan out your next move!

There are a lot of 5E games recruiting, and even some games have a guaranteed spot in their games as soon as you offer a complete application/introduction of your character.

Cool to read that you have a IRL tabletop group, what adventure are you DM-ing and how are things going?
