Hey everyone! Really excited to be a part of this commmunity. I used to play FASA Starship Tactical Combat Simulator in high school. Never really got in to DnD until now, and I’m looking forward learning the game and Play by Post.

Two more posts and I’m legit. I look forward to adventuring with you folks!

Never heard of FASA? I'll google it later but it sounds interesting that you played it at school; I guess we have still more old-fashioned schools over here ;-). New toDnD is absolutely no problem, have you been thinking about what system of roleplay to use yet? Have you heard or read about specific systems?
If you have decided about a system feel free to check out the Solo games, a short and sweet adventure we offer to new players to learn the ropes of posting, character creation and combat while being guided by a personal DM. (the link is in my signature)

My username dates back to when I used to work on Ultima Online. Really eager to tryout DnD 5e. I bought the starter set and I’m going to walk my wife through the beginning campaign, but I’d like to get a few PBPs going as well. Thanks for the greet, I’m already on the 5e solo waiting list!
