@mad_gondsman: I still love the punk sound, and I imagine I always will, but I definitely like to branch out and explore other music, variety being the spice of life and all. I'm glad you enjoyed them! If you're ever in Indiana when they're having a show, let me know and I'll buy you a beer! GWAR are still awesome; Bishop does a great job. I've been pretty disheartened by how many fans completely rejected a new vocalist even though the plan was always to keep carrying on regardless of which members left/died. Nick Oliveri was in Queens of the Stone Age, and he plays with The Dwarves a lot, so there's your punk rock link. :P Thanks for the welcome!

Nick Oliveri is - stylistically - my favorite bassist of all time, yet he's a tremendous disappointment with his conduct and extracurricular activities outside of the band. But that's music, I guess. Raising hell and being a role model aren't exactly the same path.

What I've seen of Bishop is good! Except I find the udders to be extremely disturbing. Much more so than Brockie's cuttlefish, haha.
