Old hat, New system
My name is Scott, in my 30's and I have been playing and dming Dnd 3.5 for years... but never tried forum games. I moved to a area without a lot of role players so Im looking forward to giving this a shot Last edited by Oridian; Nov 13th, 2017 at 02:50 AM.

Goodmorning Oridian,
There is still a lot of 3.5 games looking for players and if this is the first time you are exploring play by post then I can recommend requesting a solo game. (link is in my signature) It is a short and sweet adventure we offer so you can experience roleplaying a character in an online setting. Anyway, what was the best adventure you ever DM-ed or did you make a homebrew world, setting and adventure? Most important though, welcome over here and hope you have fun

@halflingTeaWizard - Honestly Im up for pretty much anything rpwise once I learn how forum rp works
@chocoladevia - Im already signed up for a solo adventure when a slot opens and best adventure... I homebrewed a worldsetting using a generic rp system though the name of the system evades me, was a modern battleschool type game with a fantasy twist, ran for about 3 years before moving on. traditional fantasy I ran a game based off of an assassins guild in 3.5 evil campaigns are fun lol

Welcome to the club chummer!
Have you tried anything besides 3.5? There is still plenty of love for the system in these parts but there are so many other great systems out there. PbP is the perfect medium to try new stuff. Plenty of time between posts to double check rules and plan out your actions. I've tried out two new systems I've never heard of since joining here and I haven't regretted it yet! Thanks for joining us and let us know if there is anything we can do to help you settle in!

@Imveros - I have run/played using Rift, Champion, BESM, Star wars d20, Shadowrun, a generic system that evades me atm but was made to run almost any concept well due to flexibility, and about every other d20 system out there, also played in a few modern spy type games but dont remember the system. If your refering to DnD though, I tried Pathfinder once, 4.0 once... but yeah 3.5 is the system I am most familiar with
