Instead of called shots I'd prefer, at the start of the game anyway, to stick to how the two types of Batarangs are used Christopher Nolan's trilogy. For game balance I have lowered the original weapon's damage dice type and added the intended functions.

Batarang I The larger type is designed to knock guns out of the criminals' hands. Based on: Chakram Dmg(M) 1d8 Crit ×2 Range 30 ft. Weight 1 lb. Type S Special You can wield the chakram as a melee weapon, but it is not designed for such use; you take a –1 penalty on your attack roll with the weapon and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or cut yourself on the blade (half damage, no Strength modifier). You do not need to make this save if wearing heavy armor. Batarang I Dmg(M) 1d6 Crit ×2 Range 30 ft. Weight 1 lb. Type B Special: Nonlethal; You may make a ranged disarm with a Batarang, using your ranged attack bonus instead of your CMB.

Batarang II This smaller model first appeared in Batman Begins, resembling the ninja's shuriken, designed to distract targets rather than as weapons. Based on: Shuriken Dmg(M) 1d2 Crit ×2 Range 10 ft. Weight 1/10 lbs. Type P Special: Monk; Although they are thrown weapons, shuriken are treated as ammunition for the purposes of drawing them, crafting masterwork or otherwise special versions of them, and what happens to them after they are thrown; A shuriken can't be used as a melee weapon. Batarang II Dmg(M) 1 Crit ×2 Range 10 ft. Weight 1/10 lbs. Type B Special: Nonlethal; You may performed a ranged feinting by throwing this weapon as a standard action. Make a ranged attack roll again DC 10 + your opponent's base attack bonus + your opponent's Wisdom modifier. If your opponent is trained in Sense Motive, the DC is instead equal to 10 + your opponent's Sense Motive bonus, if higher. If successful, the next attack (melee or ranged) you make against the target does not allow him to use his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any). This attack must be made on or before your next turn. When feinting against a non-humanoid you take a –4 penalty. Against a creature of animal Intelligence (1 or 2), you take a –8 penalty. Against a creature lacking an Intelligence score, it's impossible. Feinting in combat does not provoke attacks of opportunity. I've been thinking about a BP-purchasable option to let you improve the rage and get it sooner. Let's take a look:

The Barbarian's Rage is twice as good as the Inquisitor's one and 5 levels "earlier".

Feat - Extra Rage Prerequisite: Rage class feature. Benefit: You can rage for 6 additional rounds per day. Special: You can gain Extra Rage multiple times. Its effects stack.

This feat effectively brings the Barbarian's Rage 3 levels "earlier". Could we then provide an option to spend 2 BP to have the Inquisitor gain Divine Anger 3 levels earlier? Thus:

The other thing...

I've always thought about taking Throw Anything with Short Swords - why not save a feat and just throw Daggers instead? The only difference that really matters is 1 point of damage on average. A Fighter can spend a feat on Weapon Specialisation to gain 2 points of damage. I know - an Inquisitor cannot take that, but several other feats are even better: Weapon Focus, Precise Shot, Far Shot and the best one... 3 attacks at -4 with TWF, usable even in melee (just take a 5ft step away before you throw it for your last attackRapid Shot. That is unless of course if you must use Short Swords for RP purposes.

Something I might consider in the future, sure.

The other thing...

RP purposes really. The archetype on which I'm modeling used short-sword sized blades that looked a cross between a bayonet and a machete. And could throw a veritable cloud of them. Mechanically, little different from a dagger, sure, but there's definitely a different feel between throwing little daggers and hurling arm-long blades.

My suggestion - use this existing Pathfinder weapon and call it what you want. Not sure if you need to change the damage type to Piercing.

Looking forward to it! I guess the Dark Knight wouldn't mind so much if assassination of an individual is carried out with the motivation to save a lot of people; he just won't do it out of his principles. But it won't stop him from disabling that individual and put him behind bars.

I will never forget the time I had a conversation like this in-character. I was playing a very principled character, and the other person playing someone who would do whatever it took. They had put forth an idea which was good, and would work, but my character's morality disagreed with. So I told her "If I catch you doing this, I will have to stop you." She continued trying to argue that it was a good plan. That argument suddenly ended when I shouted out her, "I'll be over there, doing this other thing? Could you not get caught by me under those circumstances, if you, hypothetically, were to go through with this?" She just took a long pause and said "... oh. Right."

Due to some real life issues happening right now, Shin and I regrettably have to take our leave of RPG crossing. We apologize greatly for this but we didn't want to disappear without a word. @ GL and Shinjiku: If you see this, please have my good wishes that whatever you are dealing with in rea life will turn out fine. Hope to see you two here again!

@ Everyone else: What do we want to do at this point? We have all invested a fair bit of time and thinking into creating our characters and figuring out the mechanics. A bit of a shame to waste all this. Would one of us come forth and volunteer to DM/GM for all of us, while playing his/her character at the same time? (I don't have the skills, knowledge and experience to do that, unfortunately.) Or could we all co-DM/GM, making it a very sandbox-type of campaign? If we could contact GL or Shinjiku we can ask them to send us the stuff they have already prepared - and from then on we just create whatever we need to continue the game as we go along.

I Co-DMed a couple times. But that was on a site for RP only, no rolls or stats, and neither of those games were very intensive. Honestly given their absence of late I was beginning to accept that this game would probably be cancelled or postponed. Then you and I got into, what for me amounted to a 'finally!', making my character's stuff work and I couldn't help but get excited as I had when first reading the app thread.

In any event I will be busy with Outplay until eliminated and won't have the time to DM a game(play one sure) until that's over and I'd be very new to doing so.(On PbP format, have done it many times FtF)

I can't imagine running this myself, and I'm hesitant to play with someone other than the original GMs running it. I've never had a good experience with that circumstance.
