So I should have some time tonight to catch up on internetly things - it's an odd month for me, moving and moving again before settling(ish) for November - should be able to keep on top of things, though! Highly interested to see where things go.

So a little more on partial leveling before I go edit my sheet...

This means I would need take "spell levels" three times before gaining the next tier of spells, yes?
Do level one abilities still scale with level? (bardic knowledge, bardic music rounds/day, inspire courage +x)
Are things like BAB still limited to 3/4 or 1/2 progression?

And, out of curiosity, why power-down so much? (It seems like it handicaps utility/versatility classes more than specialists.)

The partial levelling is a half-way step to a full level-up. You're starting at level 2.0, so no partial level involved. I introduced it because playing PbP can take a very long time to level up: you'll only ever get one part-level per full level, so you just choose which bit you get first.

It's not a power down so much as a subdivision - I hope that makes sense!

So at lvl 2.5 I'll get the HD and one class ability, then at 3.0 all the "missing" stuff, too. Correct?

Sorry I'm so slow! Thought I was going to have a mellow birthday, catch a show, do some writing...did not remember that I have friends now, and that they buy drinks. Also, my living quarters would seem to be inundated with dance instructors...not sure how that happened, as I don't dance. Anyroad! Will be back on track as quickly as possible.

I'm happy to split the party if that means that things get moving again... but I'm aware that doing so creates extra work for the GM and can lead to snags.

Hence the effort to try to find something useful we can do in separate groups, before meeting up to go for a hike in the hills. Hopefully it's not too crazy.

Edit: Haha, so I previewed my rolls, and I noticed a 2 on hit points, thought, "Well, at least that won't get any worse." Silly me.
