I seen that now, I understand what you were doing.
So yes you did see a glimpse of Alec's anger towards Decarde, which he didn't hide to well through his fake smile. Since everyone in the tavern can actually see his hatred for Decarde. |

dang. I sorta meant for Alec to be mad at the wolf that turned him into a monster, but I guess that plans out the window. Oh well, now we get to see how badly I lose this card game. Can I make a wisdom check to play my hand instead of a bluff check please? I can fluff it so it makes sense...or I can just suck it up and play it normally

Wisdom makes more sense for you to do a card roll if you play based on a cold, calculated logic.
Decarde, however, does NOT follow this cold, calculated logic. And as a hypothetical example, here's the result of one round of combat against Decarde. BAB +1, Str +7, forging BAB for power atack... Dice ATTACKCHANCE:
Dice Damage:
x4 damage because it's a scythe critical, and.. Well, you just suffered 56 damage.

I wouldn't be gloating about battle just yet. That tends to upset DMs and seeing as you are our only vampire it would be pretty simple for him to put in a few "Sunlight" spells and their ilk. Remember, vampires have the most strengths, but also the most weaknesses.

The man asked. On a serious note, IIRC there aren't any base spells that qualify as "sunlight." Being vulnerable to the sun is pretty crippling though.
I will probably have to get a magic umbrella like the one from Order of the Stick to counter it.

Sunbeam and Sunburst specifically do extra damage to Undead and even more extra to creatures who are vulnerable to damage from sunlight. What do you mean "base spells"?

Extra damage, yes.
The oh god face melting that occurs from natural sunlight? No <---Is very technical. Edit: Sunbeam even do extra damage under the sunlight argument. Vampires are vulnerable to sunlight, and not bright lights in general. They still take extra damage for being undead though. Sunburst specifices double damage to sunlight vulnerable creatures, so it does in fact inflict extra damage under the sunlight argument. They also take extra damage for being undead. Both are thankfully moot right now since they're rather high level spells, being 7th and 8th level.
