Well, I'm certainly willing to play. I just beg patience, as I'm literally trying to learn PF well at the same time I'm doing 3.5, and with number dyslexia. So. Let's talk charries: What levels, what races, etc? I am all ears and I want to have fun with you. Having fun alone is never as good as it is when you're with friends.

My general stat system is 2d6+6 avoids the needs for often rerolls, and simplifies things, but, as a back up, should you be upset with your stats, the fall back is point buy, which, it would depend on pathfinder or 3.5 for the amounts. Meh. I personally never worry about party dynamics as a DM, there are plenty of ways to get around those messy things, if you pay a little more or what not, but, that depends on how the PC's want to roll with it.

Also, I tend to be more of a sandbox dm... but, if you all want linear progression, that's plausible too. So, yeah, start there and see whatcha all think

Also, there is some territory info missing, but most of the area, which is expansive, is called the bad lands, harsher environments to live in with roving tribes of human and beast men alike. There is a group called the Ashiden, Masters of the Plains, who are widely feared and prejudiced for nearly no reason. They are superstitious, and often sell their services to just about anyone, but, are always cautious of outsiders and those they haven't dealt with before.

The continent is divided by a massive mountain range, home of gnomes and kobolds, and dwarves. The empire is at the western most point, mostly lush plains, independent nations east, the dead marsh north near the mountains. Then the mountains, and great forests after housing the elven nations. The badlands are after that. There used to be a great nation in the middle of the badlands, but, it has been shrouded in darkness for a few hundred years, and no one knows why, but none dare go there. Black March, the "Evil" empire is to the far east. Much of the world is still under development, small nations to insert, and many towns, but, I intentionally left that open for player creation and creativity. The frozen north is a rather massive peninsula at the tip of the mountain range with very few ways to get to it without going through the mountains.

I'll have a place to roll up stats shortly, mulling over the method a bit still. Two sets of 4d6 keep highest three take the better set doesn't sound bad, I used to do it that way, but tried simplifying it since I kept running into long character generation with that, and to many rerolls. That's why I usually go with 2d6+6, impossible to roll less than 8 which is a manageable, if unpleasant stat. I'll say that you can roll two sets of either 2d6+6, take the better of the two, or same for 4d6kh3, your call.

If all else fails 20 point buy is your fallback for craptastic rolls

That is to say, d6 reroll 1's, d8-10 reroll 1 and 2, and d 12 reroll 1-3 so Zev's got a reroll

Not really any restrictions that I can think of.

My character is a Being half-fey, my character hasn't aged normally. She was born 20 years ago but looks and acts between 5 and 15 years old, usually on the younger side of things. Her apparent age fluctuates depending on the situation and how she's feeling.half-fey aasimar dread necromancer. (Wings and some aasimar abilities traded away for the ability to turn into a kitten)
Aethera is my character's she's still wrapping her head around ityounger big half-sister by her aasimar mother, who's partially possessed by a holy spirit or something like that? I'm not entirely sure on details. Think she's an oracle?
Zev is a rogue-type I believe.
Our player who abandoned us was a pseudodragon caster who's now carting around with us as an NPC.

Hey there, Coelubris! Since the PC-now-NPC is still hanging around, if you wanted to be lazy and just take over that character (pseudodragon sorcerer) that would be fine, too. All the mechanics are in the character thread.

Between Ana (me) and Leenee (Humble Athena) I think we covered life magic and death magic. Roguishness is zev, though we don't know much about him yet. And then the mini dragon with magic. I'm not sure what holes there are in this mismatched group, but pick anything you like.
