Plebians? Yay! A reference to Romans! I'm about... half done, I suppose? Got through the 33,000 gold level 8 shopping spree at least (for the most part), which for me is the worst part. Worst in that I will obsess and have way to much fun with it.

Working through the other half of my gestalt. Need some more defensive options at the moment, but I think I have it figured out.

Starting to feel like I'm the typical multi-role character that sucks at all of them :/ I need more practice at this EoM and gestalt thing

It is taking a lot more research to get used to, but it's actually pretty hard to nerf yourself too bad with the rules that are in place with EoM. Even if us Divine casters count as level 6th except for our Domains, we're still able to really churn out damage pretty quick if you mix your upgrades right, or heal well, or whatever's your particular shtick. It is really flexible in the end.

EoM is pretty cool. Look at the specialization feats, they are really strong. For example: I made a master illusionist who had all the illusion spell seeds and the related seeds (illusion(nature) requires create(nature) to be effective.)
Using illusion mastery I could then cast a (6 or 8, cannot remember the costs off the top of my head) illusion which contained aspects of every other seed I could want it to (which meant all of them.) It can lead to some great effects. Similarly I made a caster whose schtick was gravity. So instead of focusing on a particular seed I just focused on 'effects which move people hither and thither, and creating field effects.' Oddly his primary attack spell ended up just suffocating people because evoke(void) is hilarious. |
