Though Xian I think the check that he has to make is modified somehow by the mp? I don't remember how I wrote it. Everyone else, expect something from me by monday. My posts would be more frequent, but I'm spending a majority of my day studying for the MCAT and a majority of my night marathoning Game of Thrones. And we all know that when you play the Game of Thrones, you either win or you die.

Heh it's been a while since I've looked at EoM but I do remember when a friend and I attempted to recreate the effects of Unlimited Blade Works (Essentially creating a bubble of a different reality around the caster filled with every variant of +10 weapons you can concieve) we could do it a couple levels before 20. I also recall we could get it done with a not horribly unreasonable number of people pre level 10 in a equally not horrible span of time. Now again I don't recall the specifics but suffice to say I'm terrified.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Create (Metal) can't add magical enhancement to the weapons (Magical enhancement is not made of metal). +10 enhancement bonuses cost 20 MP all on their own using Infuse Force, and you couldn't apply that to the whole demiplane without some serious MP (264 to be precise) but you would need the same to fill the whole space with swords anyway.

Finally, none of them last more than 10 min, and it can't be used in battle because there's nothing to stop your enemies grabbing a sword of their own.

I read over the spellthief and I have to say I am disappointed. It would have been absolutely hilarious if you had stolen the ritual's effects from Calder and applied them to yourself, especially if I start using the powered up version once you're on ship.

No I just searched spellthief and found a Sorcerer/Rogue gestalt on the PFSRD. Xian plays a different one then?


That isn't to say that spell is useless though, The same spell could be used to create a Demiplane containing a 20 ft sphere of solid gold. Just for the shock value.

On a completely separate note, I wish I was allowed to take Craft Permanent Spell. I'm an alchemist, I could take "Transform (Metal)" and cast a permanent Transmute Lead to Gold spell

Ohh, I just thought of an awesome curse spell "Transform Metal (6)/ Gen (1)" as a permanent spell. It would cost 98,000 gp to create, but it's the midas touch. Make the spell non-dismissible and non-suppressible, suddenly everything they touch turns to gold

This was probably already covered, but has there been a determination on how to apply the effects of the additional spells gained either through bloodline or through Favored Class bonus?

I don't remember whether this was in the questions thread or my private one, but Fendrith said that any bonus spells are gained instead as bonus spell lists. I've tried to keep mine flavourful.

Good luck with those MCATs Fendrith, my wife working towards medical school herself, so I know how important those are. ...Though I would like to get rolling here soon, even if I'm just set with dialogue with my fellows for some random "nothing's-happening-travel-time" talking or whatever. That way I got something going without you needing to really have to focus any effort towards us yet.

I'm not a big fan of creating random filler content. I gave Dbaque a very brief prologue to start him off. I'll give you and Tondrick one as well as we get closer - Dbaque's prologue was chronologically appropriate. Athesto isn't getting anyone mostly because he's pretty much where he needs to be. I've already beaten Glorfinmad more violently than I plan on beating George R.R. Martin for the red wedding to get him to post and keep the game moving. In the meantime, since I don't want to create filler content but I feel your pain of having an unscratched d&d itch, would you that are not posting be interested in doing a level 1 AP or module with your characters using the same rules but scaled down to 1 so it takes like 5 minutes to put the character together max?

I'd be ok with that. I mean, I don't want to have to make you launch into anything labor intensive, MCAT's and all. But the way I figure it, more things I can interact with here, more I'll not be checking the threads here as a chore. Less of a chore it is, more likely I am to do it and more likely I'll have a good posting habit going by the time the story rolls around to me. So I suppose whatever would be good for you.
