This is not what should be worked on AFTER the game starts. If everyone will want to be a leader, there will be no people left out who will trust each other or fight in the battles. It's just the way RPG worked out for me for the past time.

I see it as a chance to interact and get to know each character on a more personal level. Just because you have 4 leader types doesn't mean you cant have a cohesive unit that works well together. It may simply mean that if one leader is hurt, injured, or otherwise incapacitated your unit still functions well.

Conflict is never a problem. In fact it is already proven that having conflict in the party is what makes things more interesting.

However, I see no way Rimmy will be able to deal with this.

I remember a discussion once about how to fit an evil character in with a party that had a paladin without it just dissolving into pvp. The solution basically boiled down to "make it work". You're the one in charge, not the character. This is true also for a character that wouldn't necessarily bite a particular plot hook, but needs to in order for the DM to progress the game. Look an Nairea. She'd much rather be holed up somewhere with a good book than traveling with this motley crew. She does it because she needs the money. Just because you're playing an unhappy character doesn't mean you the player can't enjoy it.

That being said, I'm not trying to keep you somewhere you don't want to be. We're her to have fun after all and if you're not then something's wrong. There's plenty of games on this site, perhaps we'll meet again on some different field of battle.
