It's DMs call, but for what it's worth the Fiendish Heritage feat can be considered obsolete, considering the Blood of Fiends and Blood of Angels books make to reference to heritage feats for either Aasimar or Tieflings, and Aasimar have no heritage feat tied to them.

The Tiefling feat comes from Bastards of Erebus released in 2009, where the Blood of Fiends was released in 2012 and effectively retcons the Fiendish Heritage feat.

But like I said, DMs call, just putting it out there since it was a discussion I had with another DM fairly recently.

Well, if it's an issue, I've no problem taking off the Fiend Sight. I hope I won't need 120ft of darkvision wherever we are at the present moment. Just let me know And yes, favored class bonus is in skill points.

You're fine with fiendsight. I didn't realize there had been an update to the demonic heritage tiefling.

@ Rainbow - Kiarran didn't loom, nor does he try to loom over anyone, as per your post. (I never said anything of the sort) Perhaps you read too much into the suggested title of "investigator". Think of it more like he's a private eye that doesn't normally want too much attention or notice. It makes his job more difficult. He's more of an unassuming posture and never "enforces" laws or regulations. He is in the information business and if he doesn't already have it, then he will try to sneak in or quietly find out (hence, stealth and disable device). If the ruling authority hires him (or any other that wants to enforce something, not just have something checked out), then he goes on official business in uniform with guards and they do any enforcement or protection while he looks into it. If Acilla is suspicious of someone that her own bosses hire occasionally (whether she knows about the reason or not), then that says wonders about her trust and faith in her superiors! On the other hand, if she just doesn't like halflings or Kiarran's line of work/person/whatever - then cool - there's nothing to say she has to like anyone. Imagine an agent that is more technical and doesn't stand stiff-backed or imposing at all. Does that help?

Hey Jarl, I think my joke didn't quite work out, I was making a joke about his height, obviously you don't typically think of someone short to be looming. It was also just a reference back Here about him showing up around the temple of Shelyn. It's not a lack of trust in her superiors, it's just sort of fatigue about her superiors not necessarily trusting her despite her work on the front lines.

But yeah, mostly it was just a joke about halflings being short XD Sorry for the confusion.

My desktop crapped out a few weeks ago and I lost all of my campaign notes, and I've been plagued by staffing issues at work so I haven't been able to get a full day off to work on this. May and early June is one of the busiest times of year for me, so to be honest, the post rate is likely going to be 2-3 per week from me instead of the 1/day I would prefer.

Please bear with me, and once July rolls around, I will have tons of free time to get ahead of the ball.

On that note, I am going to bed. I will try to post something substantial before work tomorrow, but it will likely be after midnight CST before I can devote sufficient time to it.

As far as checks go, if its something reactionary, like a saving throw or a perception/sense motive check, I will generally roll them for pacing purposes. PbP moves slow enough without having to wait an extra day or two for a dice roll to determine the outcome of things.

Having said that, once you all get your mythic powers, you will be able to use an immediate action to add dice to a d20 roll from time to time. In the interest of speed, Ill post results and retcon them as needed if you exercise the addon roll and it affects the outcome.

Once again, I will try to make a substantial post IC before I go to work tomorrow, but for now, the girl with the broken leg hasn't received sufficient healing if anyone else cares to take a crack at it.
