So a word about traps. In the interest of speed, I believe I'm going to just give anyone with trapfinding a perception check to discern traps prior to triggering them. This is partly to head off the standard scenario of checking everything for traps, which I feel would bog a PbP down, and partially because I think randomly-placed traps that exists only as a hp tax are stupid.

Sounds good, UK. Probably a good idea to keep it rollin'. Not sure if anyone besides Kiarran has trapfinding...
Also, a quick note here so you know that I'm leaving tomorrow evening for 10 days. Off to get married. We will have internet but I'm not going to post much until after I get back. Feel free to bot/NPC him as you need to in the meantime. Hope everyone has a great long weekend! (at least I know folks in Canada and the US will get one during then...)

K's thought process is that it may be another person caught in the rifts. He didn't see the campsite. Instead of climb up and be surprised or attacked he figured to call out and give the individual a chance to show they are not a threat unless needed. And a demon likely wouldn't have a backpack. This way he alerts his allies to something and if there is no one up there, then no problem I trying to climb up.
