I do have some questions on playing Lawful Neutral. I've read examples and articles all about it.. But I'm not quite sure if I am or will get it right. The whole 'Neutral' aspect I can manage.. It's the 'Lawful' part mixed in with that. Lawful Good and Lawful Evil I can probably handle. But a mix of Lawful and Neutral throws me off a bit. Like I said, I've read all sorts of tips and such on it, but I'm still unsure about it all. Would it be best that I continue playing my character as I am and see where I line up later on with my alignment?

Yea, LN is a strange one to play. A good idea is that he may follow the "pirate code" as his way of life. Or slowly starts to pick up and follow it as the game goes on. It is kind of a you do things because that is they way they are done. Kind of like when the mutiny happens you can feel okay with overthrowing whoever because that is how pirate law works.

But that is just a suggestion. I am somewhat easy with alignments, as long as you don't seem to be too off from a basic idea I won't worry.

That was kind of my idea.. Like he's use to a completely different set of laws and rules, but now that he's pretty much being forced into this idea of Piracy, maybe he picks it up as his new law.

Something to help support this is also the fact that he finds out (Just recently, in fact) is that his parents were pirates.. So he's more willing to give into that way of life. It is something that has been hidden from him his entire life, and now that he's found out about it he is curious about the style, but is still very rule heavy.. So he'll definitely be a huge upholder of the Pirate Code.

Still working out the other details of his background, but I'm trying to make this transition from Monk life to Pirate life as easy as possible.

Check the "Tools" drop down up at the top of the page. There is a "My Characters" option. Click that and it opens to the page to create character sheets.

I do not know. I'll have to find out what that is. It may be something new from the last time I ran a game here.
