Mine is the same as I had it, but maybe the default was modified? Check what theme you're using.

Ahem! Well now that that curiosity is out of the way, I think I could use a bit o' clarification. Because I just realized me and Mushin seem to be running on two different tracks as to what our goal is. I was under the impression that we got these addresses with the intent to move in and claim it as our "turf," hence why I'm operating on the kick down the door and murder stuff mindset. But Mushin seems to think we're here for information. I guess this is an open-ended problem solver type of campaign, but could I get some clarification from you Eli?

One could definitely go about collecting information on the locals, but the addresses you were given are, at least supposedly, abandoned. Any real resistance you come across will be either from the previous occupants (like the two traps) or from squatters, who have no legitimate claim on the properties (them thugs).

Munshin's intention is to try and claim the buildings while minimizing fuss, which means making sure the Dragon Maw has no intention of fighting us for the territory, if it is in fact theirs. Assuming they can be negotiated with. If not, I figured we'd end up in some sort o fight anyways, but 'legally' speaking, we want to own/rent the spaces, so cover bases. if the Dragon Maws actually have the deed/whatever for the spot, we'd have to confirm them not wanting it to get our hands on it really.

That was the logic I had in mind anyways. If these sort of places don't have that sort of ownership paperwork and we can just move in how we feel like it, that 'simplifies' things a bit.

EDIT fortunately, I was able to correct a Dice fit in my post. If you try and modify the wording inside it without touching the numbers, it gets all pissy as if you had deleted a roll. correcting the name made it happy again though. Sensitive thing though. >_>;

The dice error is probably so you can't be all like, oh no, I rolled a 1 on that attack, better make it a perception check to look for invisible critters!

Makes sense, fortunately, the GM can always see the deleted dice from what I know so even if someone does make a change like that, it's pretty obvious so long as the GM isn't lazy.

...Also, I think we have the issue of possibly saying. "Oh no, I rolled a 1 on that perception check to look for invisible critters, better make it an attack!"

Verily! I have heard nothing for my character's ears do not hear the voice of the GM! Unless there's specific warnings that have occurred in game, then I must press forward!
