HP and languages. Then I think I'm done.

What languages do lizards speak? Is lizard common different from mammal common?

HP is maxed at 1st, half for later levels(truncated). So a d8 gets you 8, then 4, then 5, then 4...

Lizards speak lizard common, otherwise noted as Lizard. This is not the same as normal Common, and you need a language feat for that. Speaking normal Common around town will make people think you are a spy or something.

Training, yes. The thing that gets you the language thingy. Intelligence, or skill points, or flailing about and hoping you are understood.

Whew. Thank goodness. For the feat slot, I'd flail about and hope. But it would really suck to be perfectly disguised as a human and then be asked a simple question..... A skill point I can spare.

I am using that concept I PMd you with, but with a drake instead.

Is that small sized trait still an option? I like the idea of being the littlest drake.

And how do I pick spells for my spellbook? I mean in addition to those gained per level. Do I pay the ink cost per spell, or do I need to pay for a scroll and ink? Something else? A limit on number of spells in my book?

Quick question: I'm assuming the Bulwark feat only applies on one hit that would've knocked you below 1HP and not constantly taking swings while still remaining at 1HP, right?

Hmm. Normally I just pick whatever and avoid filling out the book, but if we have to go for a hard starting amount...
All basic cantrips, 12 1st level spells, 8 2nd level, 5 3rd level, 2 4th level. Any more you will pay the shop costs. My ruling here will be that you can't carry more spells in books on you than fit on the character sheet block. You can have more lurking in a trunk somewhere, but not readily accessible in the field.

It applies to a given action. So if someone does a full attack on you, you'd survive the full attack with 1HP. If he gets an AoO on you later for the cherry tap, you KO.
