Firstly, thank you very much for applying! Everyone had great characters, and I'm looking forward to gaming with you all. This is my first shot at PbP DMing, so any tips along the way will definitely be appreciated.

A little about me... I'm a 19-year-old uni student hailing from down under. I'm a dabbler in a lot of different things, from writing to art to design, and I'm studying Biology, Linguistics and Japanese. I'm also a big fan of anime and manga, besides the obvious fantasy likes. I have a baby who I love more than anything: she's my 2 year old most adorable wonderful husky puppy that I will no doubt go crazy posting pictures of at some date in the future.

Alright my turn I guess.

I'm 20 years old and I'm figuring out schooling to go into Game Development. Going to Full Sail, although right now I'm on break to get some community college classes to get caught up on calculus and programming. I doubt it'll become a factor at all in activity, but if something does come up with school, I'll make sure to let you guys know so you won't be caught off guard. I won't be getting the community classes til the end of august though so don't worry bout that for a while.

I like video games that have a good story and strategy elements in them, and about the only thing I ever will willingly watch on TV anymore is The Mole and reruns of Star Trek.

Music, I'll listen to whatever sounds good. I got plenty of broadway on this thing, some 80's, some animaniacs, it's just a mixed bag filled with chocolate and pirahnas.

I don't watch TV ever anymore. Sure, I watch a lot of anime, but everything on TV seems just so boring... Well, there's some show on ABC called Spooks that is kind of interesting that I've caught once or twice. It's about spies and MI5 and stuff, I think.

Oh, and I've got two potential non-posting areas eventually. September 17-20 is GenConOz, and I'll be going interstate to attend that. And towards the end of the year I should be going to Japan for 3 weeks, which will most likely interfere with posting. But apart from that not much really should stop me.

I'm 20, hail from just north of the border - Vancouver - and originally from Ukraine. Speak fluent Russian. In my free time I dabble in drawing and writing. I'd throw TV in there, but now that Battlestar's finished its run and Lost is off the air for a while, there's not much else to see . . . though Mad Men s2 and House s4+5 are on the radar, I suppose.

Just watched Transformers two hours ago! Long story short - IMHO, of course - it's not as good as the first, and suffers from lack of Shia, lack of Optimus, lack of characterization, and a lack of a lack of military propaganda. Still, it's my childhood on screen . . . how can I say no to that?!

As for anime, I'm a pretty huge fan of Ghost in the Shell and NGE, but not so much the mainstream-er stuff.

Whoa, Russian, that's pretty cool. Russian SOUNDS so angry and strange to me, but it's something I wouldn't mind learning one day. Add it onto the list with like 20 other languages I suppose...

I'm not a big fan of NGE, but I love Ghost in the Shell. I'm all kinds of in love with the Major, she's so awesome.

I'm 35 and work as a programmer/web developer for a small marketing company. I just started last week after quitting my job as a web developer for an international bank. I also run my own company doing consulting that I hope to leverage into my full-time pursuit. I double-majored in Comparative Religion and Philosophy, neither of which have yet to make me any money, but they do make me a better conversationalist than most programmers.

I teach an obscure, southeast Asian martial art called pencak silat, and I run a live gaming group every other Friday. I have a wide variety of interests and side hobbies and pursuits. I haven't watched TV in forever, but I like movies, and the few TV shows I've really enjoyed, I've picked up on DVD anyway (Firefly, Galatica, Heroes).

I stay sane by keeping a browser window open with something entertaining in it and hitting Refresh. It used to be Popmundo, but these days, it's DnD OG. I have no spare time and compensate for this with relative insomnia.

I'm 23 years old and a southern belle from Texas, where everything is bigger! I Graduated from college as a MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) and I work at local pediatric clinic as a Nurse Practitioner. Because I'm the youngest and I have three older brothers, I'm a huge tomboy. I love Video Games, Sports, Cars, Anime, and being a giant nerd. I also like to read and write from time to time. Like all of you, I don't watch TV at all, I actually don't even have one in my bedroom! I'm a huge Sci-Fi nut, and I love Star Wars, and anything by Quentin Tarantino or Joss Whedon.

Like MadSatyr, I'm a martial artist, I'm a second-degree black belt in Kajukenbo, and I've been learning Jiu-Jitsu as well. I play a table top game of DnD usually twice a month, and I have a kitten who is way too energetic and playful. I speak English (obviously), Japanese, and I can read and write Hangul.
