The Unlucky Owlbear
![]() Welcome all you would be kings, queens and jesters (probably the most important position of all). The Unlucky Owlbear is temporarily parked here till we get the game folders (yours truly has been working 10 days straight and off to DC tomorrow evening, back on Thursday with limited internet access). So please do create your characters in the meanwhile and post any questions or concerns (feel free to nose around this once upon a time awesome game that was too) here.

Checking in...I will be traveling back home all day tomorrow so any work on this will have to wait until after that (though my sheet is almost complete since this was a 'recycled' character from another path finder game that never got off the ground).
Oh and thanks Colatine for giving me the chance to join this game. †

I'm honored to be accepted! I'm working up a sheet right now (I never begin before acceptance out of superstition). I believe you said we're using 3.5's point buy, right?

Additionally, I'm going to be putting in a Pathfinder Character Sheet on the site later today (a few last minute changes to make when I have a chance later today, and then it's in.) |

Thanks will go to jjwolven too -- I'm not sure just how much work he did on it, but I have a feeling that he spent a lot more time on it than me. I just happen to have the more glorious position (if adding a csheet can be said to be 'glorious') of finishing it up and putting it out.

Anyway, back to the game at hand, as far as inter-group relationships part of Karth's background is being a loner-by-circumstance who's gotten tired of it, so any relationships are probably either new or acquaintance-level as a guide or caravan guard of some type. New ones would probably be prefaced along the same way, with him offering his services as a scout/guide and an able swordsman and archer.

I think there is some sense to be made of Alistair hiring him or at least recruiting him to his side. Alistair unabashedly to be he one to settle these lands, but for reasons that are, if not necessarily good at least aren't bad. I'm not sure how much romantic talk of chivalry would sway Karth, but Karth's skills would definitely attract Alistair. he has ambition and power, but not a clue about the wilds that would be his kingdom. He would be in need of someone who knows about them and well to get an advantage over his competitors, but more importantly to survive.
If there can be some way that you and Sartov(Chrystom's charater) could already be working together prior to my recruiting, it would make that work even better. Perhaps, you searching for family, ran into his family oriented fellow with nowhere to go and found a kindred spirit? Maybe you were looking for a way to settle the land, but weren't sure how? Meaning you would be looking for me just as much I was looking for you. I don't know, this is just an idea. |

I'm considering having Stan join the group as a condition of his release from his (unfair!) jailing, as a way to get him out of Dodge.

What I meant was no more than one of a type;I.e, having 3 campaign traits for example.

I am so happy to see this Pathfinder sheet! It didn't occur to me that the guy who posted it would also have some current interest in it until I came back here :]
Would it be possible to designate my actual warhammer as a holy symbol? I could still drop the gold for ritual costs or whatnot (maybe 12g, halfway between wooden and silver, though full 25 would be fine). But I'm going to be a sort of warrior-priest, and I was going to nail it on my shield, but this seems better. Grannlaw mostly meets people through his preaching. It's possible some of you met him that way, or he could have even worked with or been your blacksmith at one point. I can slightly modify his background to put him in the same town as everyone else, if we're all starting at one point. One more question: Are we allowed to have two Basic traits (one Faith, one Magic)? None of the Race, Region, or Religion traits really apply to me... Specifically, I want Indomitable Faith and Hedge Magician (I plan to be crafting magic equipment). Last edited by Klomag; Mar 22nd, 2010 at 05:59 PM. |

Wow I didn't realize just how much Pathfinder changed the Druid from 3.5e the last time I made up this character's sheet. Doing a total remake now using the new Pathfinder sheets.
