Yeah, I only knew it was there because I recalled the ruckus it caused back in the Beta. I love Pathfinder, but it has lots of fiddly bits like that.
Anyway, my sheet is finished except for non-combat gear which I'll get around to tomororw. I also picked up a set of leather armor for 'pajamas' and in the event ACP becomes an issue. (Which I'm sure it will). Karth's a warrior first and a woodsman second, I suppose. It does feel sort of weird to have a ranger with medium armor proficiency. Anyway, link for conveniences sake: http://www.rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=10388 Also, while I was looking over others non-combat gear, I noticed an error on Stan/Birched's sheet. Bardic Knowledge lets you make Knowledge checks untrained, not all checks. So if Handle Animal is an untrained check, he won't be able to use that for another 10 levels (when he gets the Jack of All Trades ability).

Thanks -- that uncovered another bug in the sheets (my AC was set wrong when I was messing with the penalties due to high loads.) I hope it's working right now... seems to be, but I got an error along the way and, although it has disappeared, I can't figure out how I might have fixed that particular glitch with what I did do.

Ehh, who exactly is Ranger John? Anyhow; I am back. I'll set up the folders and threads sometime tomorrow, and get the game thread up on Saturday. As for PF, it's a bit harder than a "new" edition because we have to edit our knowledge of 3.5E. I appreciate all of your help and knowledge in this regard since I am learning the system myself.

I actually just now realized that the only bard abilities that let you take 10 on checks are at 5th (knowledge skills) and 10th (all skills), so that seems to be a mistake/misreading. Bardic Knowledge also doesn't let you make any untrained checks, just knowledge checks. It's entirely possible I've misunderstood the shorthand or missed something (perhaps one of the traits?), but I think as your charsheet currently stands, Stan is basically trying to control his mule with happy thoughts and not much else.

Well, color me embarrassed. I got hung up on all the weird bard exceptions and wasn't particularly familiar with Handle Animal. I also figured the take 10 thing meant in the exceptional circumstances and not just the general take 10 rule. Though I guess the fact you can use Handle Animal at all is an exception.
Well, regardless, thanks for the lesson.
