I know when you get a high enough base attack you gain more attacks. With two weapon fighting you can attack with two weapons. So am I right to think that if your base attack is +10/+5 and you use use two weapon fighting with a light off-hand you could attack like this: +8/+8 / +3/+3

Only if you have Improved Two-Weapon Fighting. Two-Weapon fighting gives you a single attack with your off-hand, at your highest base attack bonus. So really it would look like this (if your base attack is +10/+5):

Primary Hand: +8/+3
Off-Hand: +8

If you have Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, your attacks look like this:

Primary Hand: +8/+3
Off-Hand: +8/+3

Does hold the line work if they enter the square and are not charging?

I am looking through all the feats, to decide how I want to go.

If you carry a weapon on your off-hand, you can try to fight with two weapons, even without any special feat. This gives you *one* extra attack at your maximum base attack.
However, you get severe penalties, -6 on the primary hand, -10 on the off-hand.
So, if your bab is +10/+5, you'd make 3 attacks:
+4/-1 with your primary weapon
and +0 for your offhand weapon.

If you get the Two weapon fighting feat, you reduce your penalties by +2/+6...that means with this feat you have a -4/-4 penalties.
So, if your bab is +10/+5 and you have two-weapon fighting feat, you'd attack make 3 attacks:
+6/+1 with your primary weapon
and +6 for your offhand weapon.

If your off-hand weapon is a light weapon or an unarmed strike, you may reduce your penalties by 2, whether you have the 2-weap feat or not.

Now, if you have Improved Two-weapon fighting, another extra attack for your offhand, but at -5 penalty.
So, if your bab is +10/+5 and you have Improved two-weapon fighting feat, you'd attack make 4 attacks:
+6/+1 with your primary weapon
and +6/+1 for your offhand weapon.

It would be +8/+3 (as Medesha said) if your off-hand weapon is a light one or an unarmed strike.

Having higher BAB won't give you any extra attacks from your off-hand weapon...even at level 20, with BAB +20/+15/+10/+5 you'd still get 2 attacks only from your off-hand weapon using Improved Two weapon fighting feat...(for a total of 6 attacks).

On "Hold the Line", it only allows you an attack against a charging opponent. It's still pretty cool, though.

And BlueDragon explained two-weapon fighting perfectly.

Um, besides the various Weapon Proficiencies and Specializations, I don't think so (note that it is an Exotic Weapon, not Martial).

Do spell-like abilities and similar count as prerequisites for PrC's and/or feats?

For example, the Dragon Disciple PrC lists as a prerequisite "Must be able to cast an arcane spell without preparation."

The Gnome race--provided you have a Charisma of 10 or higher--gets several 0-level cantrips 1/day as spell-like abilities.

If I created a Gnome Cleric, for example, could I use these spell-like abilities in lieu of actual spells?

What are the guidelines in general?

Does a large reach weapon have a further reach than a med. one, when used by a med. char.?

Example: a med. reach weapon in the hands of a med. creature reaches 5 feet further than his reach. A large reach weapon has a reach of 10 feet further than his reach.
So a can med. char with a large reach weapon reach 15ft. (his 5 plus the weapons 10)

I think that will be up to the dm

-------------------------------------------------

I don't think that sounds righr. But if is I don't think it will be worth the weight. Just use a reach weapon.

Personally, I would believe his answer could apply to both of you.
