It's several days out yet, but just wanted to give y'all a heads up that i'll be out of town this weekend (Friday to monday, 7/14-7/17) and unable to post on those days.

I really was hoping to find something free form and kind of random like this. I'll see what I get in the dice rolling thread and work on a concept.

DEX:14
CON: 16
INT: 13
WIS: 16
CHA: 13

Looks like a hill dwarf cleric to me. Some sort of cleric anyway. I'll make a character over the next few days and try to introduce myself around town. Very exciting

Wood Elf (+2 dex, +1 Wis) and you can be a Ranger. The UA Revised Ranger is kick-ass and the West Marches is fantastic for Rangers. Lots of classes want a good wisdom - Cleric, Druid, Monk, Ranger. Given that your Dex is higher than Str. You want a race that will further boost your Dex.

You're right about that. But I've played tons of rangers in the past. A dwarf cleric of Mathammor Duin would be a little ranger-y
A question; have the West Marches DMs ever allowed homebrew stuff? Specifically, I'm talking about the Travel Domain from Eberron 5e. If not I'll pick a basic domain.

Homebrew is tricky. You need to get DM approval (all three of us). Post a link and see what we say.

I took a quick look at this version and IMO, it is pretty badly broken. Fly and Haste at 5th level, then at 6th, you can maintain a concentration based movement spell (Fly) and another concentration spell (e.g., Haste.

How do I get it so in the body of my posts I can post an image of my character and my characters actions, with the text being "in-line" with the image.

Like this post here, and basically every post by everyone else in-character (AKA people who know how to internet.)

Sorry, I have never been skilled at using word processing lol

Hi everyone - I joined up today. Just finished my character description and sheet. He's a dual-wielding Ranger (revised version of course) with some really wild but amicable tendencies. Eventually I'm hoping to take him down the Beast Conclave path so I and a wolf buddy can tag along. My stats screamed melee Ranger, and I figured a Ranger's utility abilities and beast-hunting would be super useful in a wilderness campaign.

Looking forward to it!

<Chuckle> I had the same question not too long ago.

Short answer. Use the fieldset and imgl codes - example below. <imgl> image URL </imgl> replace the angle braces with square braces. The 'l' in 'imgl', tells the processor to keep the image to the left of the space.

Longerd answer. In the spirit of teaching a person to fish, when you see a nice post, quote the post and you will see all of the 'codes' used in the post, you can 'cut and paste the codes'. Also, the Advanced editor has a 'Preview Post' button, which allows you look at various formatting options.
