Post the picture at http://imgur.com/ and use their resizing tool to make it more manageable. Under 400 is usually good, though i fond 350 best.

I've been using photobucket, and I resized the image to be far smaller, but here, for instance... the photo is small, but the real estate dedicated to the photo is still half the screen when I look at it. I guess it could be browser dependent though, or based on whatever the largest image is on the whole page or something weird like that

I've actually been resizing in paint and posting anything I need to a tumblr account I created solely for this purpose. I had no idea how to do the picture thing until I asked in another game.

I use Gimp for resizing ( I pretty fond of GNU/Linux.) And use postimage as a host. It's pretty light and clean image host page. I recommend it more than imgur that somehow it is pretty heavy tool (I'm not saying is bad but imgur is more a social network for image posting than a host for post image in forums). I like the Linux way that says " Do one thing but do it well" and postimage.oi does like that. It's a pretty neat image host page.

J2B, imgur has the exact same features as photobucket, and pretty much every single image hosting site. It has onsite tools to edit picturew without the need for an actual program.
Photobucket, for one glitches severely. Imgur has very few tech issues in comparison. I've never tried postimage, but from a quick glance at it, it does exactly what imgur and photobucket does.

Well, I use postimage mainly because in my connection is pretty fast compared to Photobucket and imgur that have a ton of features that consumes a ton of bandwidth and I really don't need. Like the fact that have a comment section (most of the people use pretty heavy gif that takes time to load in my internet connection) and a tagging that most of the time link your photos to the bar with the most popular images posted and that kind of features that I feel that reduce the response of my internet connection. (Who need a bunch of photos loafing, when you are waiting for the one you want to see). Well, that don't bother to someone that lives in a country with pretty fast connections. (That's not my case, I have 2 MB of bandwidth)

Hmm, I can't seen to find the Forgotten Realm's Marthammor Duin 5th Edition write up. Since he's the Dwarven God of travel and above ground wilderness, I figure the Nature Domain would fit.

The fun of that image host starts when you register and you have your account. It has a simple but powerful photo manager and organizer. By the way, it offer resizing for forums and another options. I use Gimp for resizing as a personal preference not because the page couldn't do it. (I'm like a character with the guild artisan background. I'm a perfectionist! :P )

For those of you who are playing along at home...I decided to go with with a Wood Elf Monk. I'll take the 17 AC at Level 1, and work with the three 9's; I think I have a backstory that will work well with the rolls.
I do have a question about starting gold: In the rules thread, it states Equipment: You begin play with the gear from your background and class choice + 25 gold pieces to spend how you'd like. If the 'background gear' includes "a pouch containing 15 gp", does that mean we start with 40 gp? Or do we just get 25 instead of 15? I'm not sure that it really matters too much, because I don't think I'll spend it all either way, but it helps to start off "doing things right"...
