Hey. I'm interested in DMing. I have experience here. I have started a few games. I like the shortened nature of games here. Means I don't have to worry about anything long and overarching.

Curious about the possibility of purchasing spells in this world/campaign. I'm running a tomelock with Book of Secrets living in a temple under his Acolyte feature. He's got little to spend money on and plenty to spend. I would normally send him to One-Shoe's for this sort of thing, but saw Trapper's note indicating that One-Shoe will no longer be buying a selling magic items under the new rules.

Wondering if this needs to happen specifically through RP with other characters or if there is/could be an outlet for this?

We're revising the magic/loot system again (sorry, all, but we think it's for the best). There will be a shop again, but it will be pretty limited. and we haven't worked out the crafting system yet. My educated guess of where things are going is:
- don't worry - you'll have less gold!
- there won't be a ton of stuff for sale
- scrolls will be craftable, and therefore sellable - but I'm least confident about this part

I'm looking forward to hearing more about this too. My character is built around becoming a smith of magical items some day, that's the entirety of what he's working towards. I understand that you need to keep things balanced, though, so I'll wait to see what you come up with.

I was rolling up my character and I only waited 25 seconds between posts (I guess my internal clock is wired fast) so it told me to wait. I did, then hit submit, and it gave me the red-outline "omg you cheater" thing.

I'm cool with using these rolls but also I don't want there to be any question about their validity. Should I re-roll or keep them?

Eh. Don't sweat it. The red is not OMG cheater, but a simple computer does not understand what is going on.

I say wait your alloted 30 seconds and roll again.

It looks like the first batch was good - i.e., two scores 15+ - so you should use those. (I don't think anyone would think those rolls were cheated. (: ) Remember that you can always roll up a new character after using the first one on at least one adventure.

I'm assuming you mean my second batch, the ones in red. I'll use those!

I'm looking at a warforged (envoy) druid. I am not sure from the RAW whether I can use the medium armor option or whether I need to stick with the unarmored option. Can a DM weigh in?

Er...yes, the red ones, I think.

Interesting question about the warforged. They're made of wood and metal, so the armor could just be wooden. A suppose a DM could say that no warforged could be a Druid at all, but we don't veer that far from the RAW. Short answer: I say you're OK with the medium armor.

When I first made Honeysuckle, it was with the UA Waterborn adventures https://media.wizards.com/2015/downl...erborne_v3.pdf
But since then there was the UA centaurs and minotaurs, and now Ravnica. Should I change to the Ravnica version?

Yes; the rule is that you use the published version of a build when a UA is published. (Er...I think we have written that rule in...) If it's a hardship, let us know.

Just a suggestion, we could have people adjust their character sheet when they level-up. This could be part of the review in the Scarlet Legion.

Also, the change to Ravnica version gives a +1 to CON, which would push Honeysuckle's CON from 15 to 16. Would that increase my HP or only from next level?
