If you're talking about the magical tatoos discussed there, that's deep into homebrew, which we don't use.
If you just want to choose mundane tatooing as an artisan skill, I think we'd be fine with that. |

Mundane Tattoos.
With the latest UA magical tattoos are pretty much magic items, but yeah... only looking for good old regular tattoos. Planning to open myself a backroom tattoo parlor. ![]()

I don't know what RAW, but I wouldn't think that the artisan tools listed in the book are necessary an exhaustive list. If the game effect is the same as, say, brewer's tools, that should be fine. Re getting artisan's tools proficiency as a feature, by RAW you can customize backgrounds as described in the PHB, so that's easy.

Can the artificer armourer dual-wield the thunder gauntlets? The description says that each fist count as simple martial weapon. But no mention of light.

The DMs will discuss, but it looks like a clear "no" to me. The PHB explicitly states that fists aren't weapons at all, so a fist can never be part of two-weapon fighting. As you mention, it also doesn't specify that the fists are "light," probably b/c fists can't be "light," "finesse," etc.
Edit: What I should have said was that a fist isn't a weapon in your hand. Even a normal fist still counts as a melee weapon attack, but not with a melee weapon in your hand. Last edited by secretID; Jun 17th, 2020 at 08:52 AM. |

I guess I'm not understanding where to apply. I have a character that met the criteria, but it was rolled up for 13th Age and never played. I am of the understanding that it could be converted over to 5e fairly easily since the only thing I ever managed to do is put in six ability scores. A 13th Age game seems unlikely after speaking to the person used to running them. I just have to decide on a background and race. But let's have a link? I'll start editing the character tonight or tomorrow.
Edit: Variant human noble Auguste Lupin.. TIBF to be determined.

Hi, I wasn't quite sure where to ask- the new player thread said applicants are contacted via PM about character approval, and I was just wondering how long that might take?

Hi
Regarding the downtime. I'm still lurking here and hope I will find the time for more adventures somewhen in the future. So I'm curious if the gold pieces keep on accumulating beyond the 60 extra days, or if 60 days extra is the maximum? Do you roll another d3+1 after another 60 days etc.? Thanks in advance! |

I think so, but TomB might want to chime in on this or start a DM discussion. I don't think anyone contemplated some parking their character for a very long time.
