I love to read when I can get my brain to focus. I usually tend to lean towards the SciFi stuff myself.

Reading: Probably not unexptected for a lot of us here I'd wager. Mostly fantasy and I have a tendency for big books, long series with lots of worldbuilding and character development opportunities.

Miniature Painting: After a few years of a break I recently started painting some of my WH40K stuff again. It's still fun

Youtube and Twitch-Streaming: This one less so over the last few months, but I still have my Youtube channel with lots of Blood Bowl 2 videos and other stuff. I really need to get back into streaming regularly again. Not that I ever had much of a following
Ya'll killing me with the break making! I WANNA SMELL THE FRESH BREAD!

World building is the best! I sadly don't have a lot of time to read the super big series that are out there, so I tend to keep to the smaller trilogies when I can find them. One of my favorite is from Brent Weeks the Night Angel Trilogy. There's another series by Karen Miller that I can't recall the name at the moment, but I'll get it to ya soon!

I was the same way! I bought myself an electronic keyboard to get started, and for probably the first year I would only play with headphones in, so that I wouldn't feel self-conscious about playing poorly and being heard. I don't play for family members very often-- about once a year or so. But my wife hears me play most mornings, and says that it's nice.

Since people are talking about all kinds of hobbies-- I tend to listen to lots of podcasts while I'm doing chores and driving and whatnot as a way to relax or gain gaming inspiration. I've been brewing for several years, but I think it's been over 12 months since I've brewed. Gonna be a while longer, since our current tenant is an alcoholic, and I don't want to introduce ANY more instability to THAT situation. =/ I've not done sourdough bread, but now I want to!

I bet that is a wonderful way to start her morning!

Definitely don't want to introduce that problematic chance with the tenant. That's a shame.

Here's an example of what I like to do!

I was in the process of trying to set up an etsy account, but gave up lol. I was wanting to set up small commissions while I was physically out of commission due to an injury. The MtG mana circles were nice and simple. I was having a lot of fun with them.

My hobby is bothering InfamousDasher.

Also I do music stuff. Altrock/Grunge and Extreme Metal typically.

My biggest hobby however, is getting paid to stay up all night playing video games and eating group home kid's snacks.

It does smell very nice

If you like Brent Weeks, have you read his Lightbringer series? The final book came out last year and I've had a lot of fun with it! The Night Angel Trilogy was the first series I knew him from. If you want I can DM you a few more ideas or recommendations, I might have a few

Cooking. Or more specifically, making people wonder where I find my recipes.

Video games. I'm not exactly picky on genre.

Reading web comics. Easy to find ones better than those in the Sunday paper.

Reading, video games, guitar, RPGs and learning the occasional programming language. This time, I'm thinking about jumping on C++, but I have my hesitations.

I would love some recommendations!

I have most of the Lightbringer series. I need to restart it. I didn't get too far into the first book before I fell out of the mood to read.

Oh that's super COOL. I love the toucan! What are the little circles made from?

Also as a long time etsy seller I can honestly say that Etsy has changed, man they even charge you fees on the postage now... how is that even a thing?! I think it's becoming harder and harder for small makers to get their stuff seen . However, i'd be happy to help you out and answer any questions if you would like to persevere with it! I make more commision sales through Facebook these days, and I know a lot of people have luck with instagram.

As for myself i'm into painting and general anything arty.
here is my most recent one- Click image for larger version

Major baking envy for the sourdough crew I hope to join your ranks one day...

Also sewing, but I make a living from it so I don't know if it still counts as a hobby... although it still feels like it, lucky for me! ☺

They're actually round canvases I found at Hobby Lobby. I have a stash of them! As well as small wooden circles. I was messing around with the idea of painting small ornaments~

I'm still looking into the Etsy thing as an option. What I've been seeing with most vendors is that they are either not charging shipping, or they are rolling it into the cost of the item. Which is fine with me. It's just a matter of figuring out the cost of the shipping and whatnot. But I might pick your brain a bit about it.
