So I thought there used to be a thread like this. My necromancy skills proved futile, so I’m just going to make another one so other people can share their good stuff, too.

My 1st grader has been having some difficulty with one of the students in his class as well as his teacher. We’ve been I contact with administrators about this. When we’ve asked him if he wanted to move classrooms, he said “No, because I don’t want to leave my friends behind with a mean teacher.”

So I’m just really proud of him for that right now.

I believe the thread you're referring to is the milestones thread, goatmeal, which is still in use, but most often for post count and RPXP benchmarks. This is a good idea.

My good might be trivial in comparison, but I had a good day. I was able to write, multitask errands/bills, and I don't feel like I need to sleep for a day to be awake tomorrow. I need to remind myself more often when I do have the good days, so the less good ones stop feeling like the norm.

Milestones thread didn’t seem quite right because it was a good thing that I couldn’t have predicted. Though if it was something like getting a long awaited promotion that would be a good place to post, I suppose.

Finally got to talk to fellow RPGXer Scimmy last night on voice chat. We have eyes on doing some podcasting together and we had a really good chat, gelled pretty well.

My son's Pinewood Derby car won "Most Funnierest" after 2 years in a row of winning "Most Creative" (He would have won that if I had put it in that category this year. It was also NOT the slowest, even though it was an outhouse with an open door

And My daughter got Scout rank last night in the first Court of Honor after the local troop started their Girl Troop. She's having a blast doing both Girl Scouts and "Boy" Scouts. *cough*PM for cookies*cough*

Between this and the Pinewood Derby, you passed on some of your better DNA. Just like I gave up all my pretty DNA for my daughters. That's why I'm old, hairy and ugly. Their stingy mom kept all her pretty.

I just received the final chapter of my personal Igor and Teaching Fellow's dissertation this afternoon. The dissertation is, in my estimation, brilliant. She'll have my job long before I'm retirement age. She still has some work to do to graduate in May, but she is a semester early. I hate to lose her, but I couldn't be happier.
