I've never really got into 2D art, so these might stretch the definition a little, but one thing I do for a LARP (Live Action Roleplay) to make some in-character coin is paint coinboxes for other characters. They give me a design, their household's crest, a personal device etc, and I buy a small wooden box, beat it up and weather it, then paint it for them and deliver it in-character at the next event. I was so happy with how they came out, I made and kept the owlbear one for myself.



Aside from that, I also paint miniatures - mainly Warhammer, but a few other lines on the side. Again, whether it meets the definition of 'art' is debateable, but I'm rather happy with how this latest project came out.

I am an unashamed ork fan, but it's quite difficult to find good pictures of orks on the internet, right? Especially ladies. I search and search and I'm like "where are all the cute orks, wtf?" I have minimal artistic talent, but I discovered one day that "photobashing" is a thing, and after many painful hours learning how to do stuff other than cropping and resizing in Pixelmator, I think I've not done too badly for a first effort. The base image is an Artbreeder autogen.

 

I have a lot to learn, still. It's a start, though!

Also That website looks equal parts trippy as frick/really handy for character faces, I'll deifnately have to check that out when I have some spare time!

Hey, Dystopian! I gave you some RPXP, but I wanted to say here as well-- Wishkamon is right. That abstract art is incredible!

I also used my magical mod powers to edit your posts and put the images inside spoilerbuttons. There were a lot of images that took up a bunch of space on the page. This way, people can click the button to open them and see them, but it's not inherently slowing down page load times and whatnot.

Honestly, those are not even my best works. It's just what I could scrounge together from all the various places I backed some up, but thanks so much. I do really appreciate the feedback. I love doing abstracts. I think I might get back to that soon as well.
God, this site has given me so much creative inspiration!

@Wishkamon- the words with the water colours are just a four piece that I posted rather unfortunately.

Oh I also just edited all the pictures to be large thumbnails and centered them for better viewing. I think that might help a bit?

The site, I was reffering to Bother's post about 'Artbreeder'.
You can use the 'quote' button at the bottom to quote someone's post, and the one next to it is 'multi-quote' which is supposed to simppify replying to multiple people. That was my first time using it and clearly it's not that effective, ahaha!

As for me, I've been feeling creativly bunged up recently, particuarly with drawing/painting stuff, but I'm trying not to sweat it! I started a surprise painting for a friend (of him, half-goat, surrounded by goats... that's not weird, right?) But not got past the background yet. Hopefully once the weather clears up i'll be a bit more inspired. Small damp caravan is not a particuarly stimulating place to paint I guess T.T

I'll try... I'm so chaotic in that regard. I spend more time creating than I do actually cataloguing or documenting the things I make.
But when a piece turns out exceptionally well or you just feel good about it because of how much time you put into it or how well you managed to put your vision to paper... those are usually the special ones for the artists themselves.
I should have pictures and scans of most things I've made by now, but it's just incredible how much data one can acquire and accumulate over the years.
I think I have close to 100.000 photos of my son and his friends doing stuff... just can't get enough of seeing him happy...

Nope, I didn't see anything else... but maybe I'm just blind or something...
I would share the link to my site but it hasn't been updated in ages and I really want to revamp it before I get people over there again.

Probably not. You need at least some space and humidity surely doesn't help with art. If you're in a confined space, I'd recommend either writing or pen drawing/sketching, to minimize the odds of either lack of space or humidity ruining your efforts. I can hardly think of something more annoying than not being able to create because your environment wasn't right.
I've had times when I wanted to write a poem or something and all I had was a napkin and nothing to put it down on... trying to write on a napkin on your lap is one of the most frustrating experiences.
