I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but I should probably restate that I don't require anybody to post in initiative order right now. I'm always resolving turns in post order leaving post order to be decided among players as long as there aren't any enemies that would have to take their turn first. Since all players are on top of the initiative because the other side is slower to react, you're good to go now.

My instinct is to get inside a building. That would cut us off from ranged line-of-sight and give us a pinch-point at the door to concentrate fire through. Resurrecting enemies are a lot easier if they can be blockaded in a narrow place that allows multiple PCs to hit a single opponent until they fail their save. Stick an armored PC in the doorway to Dodge and everyone else lay fire through the door.

On the other hand, we now know they can set the building on fire.

Any percentage in stomping not-Mayuri? She seems to be pulling the strings on the dream palace takeover, but she's not on the combat table so maybe not attackable.

I assumed that the rule of three is still working, even in combat.
Though, it would make sense if it doesn't.

Just to make sure that I'm not missing anything, you're referring to the rule of three as in letting other players have an impact too by not making too many consecutive posts? I should probably add that to my GM introduction, I didn't remember that that's what it was called.

Either way, yes, for the sake of combat I don't care. Though while talking is a free action, just be reasonable about what you feel fits into a 6 second turn. I usually end up letting turns stretch a bit further to allow for some wiggle room, but in combat, for expediency, a single post per round is more common in my experience. So it's nothing I enforce too harshly, though it's good to be mindful about as a player. Your last post is fine though, I think it's fair to assume that Derek would share his information until Togot informs us otherwise.

@edit:
The noble Aurora attacked is now at 1 HP.

Ah, right.
This rule just appears so often, that I assumed it's there.

It's a pretty good rule, I guess I just always end up in games with post rates where the rule isn't necessary which is why I never really got familiar with it.

Ooops. Totally missed that he's on the roof. Edit: And now I've had a chance to fully read the IC text.

We also should avoid being close to each-other, as long as there is the caster.
The horseman can definitely reach us - the mount can move 120'.

Yes! I'm willing to gamble on there being a back exit, or the PCs making one. MS, can you tell us a little more about the building with the adventurer atop it - door and windows situation, as we see it?

Yeah...I had the same thoughts. Given the setup, I think we'd be wasting valuable actions.

Right, so the buildings on the southern side of the street seem to be lacking any doors facing the street. Derek as the only observant one remembers that the house left from Geghard would have a door facing west into the road where the two Scarlet Legionnaires are coming from. The house on the right from Geghard might have a door facing east into the other road or a door further down the alley. On the northern side of the road there are visible doors though. One in L-13 and one in L-18. As far as windows are concerned, on the southern side of the street there are windows with closed wooden shatters in U-20, U-16, W-10 and W-14.

Hm. If we get through one of those north doors, Geghard or Baka can plug the hole.

How are we fixed for WIS checks all around? Baka and Oguun are both chunky on armor along with Geghard, but they also have high WIS and decent damage potential to drive the DC checks down, so they seem like they have the best chance to be finishers on injured opponents.

Oguun's Toll the Dead for 1d8/1d12 vs DC14 followed by a straight +4 WIS check to suppress the return to 1 HP has a decent chance to finish. Baka has Shillelag, Thorn Whip, and +5 WIS mod, definitely a finisher. Who else is stacked with WIS?

I've got Baka at +3. This is what I have for the totals of damage (from a single shot) plus WIS modifier. I assumed d12 Toll for Oguun, Shillelagh for Baka, and Sneak Attack for Earlamar.

Earlamar11
Baka10.5
Aurora10.5
Oguun10.5
Geghard9.5
Derek6.5
Rolen6.5

Does each 'finishing' attack in round get a wis roll, or is it only once per round/ target?
(For example, attacking an enemy, who has 1 HP, twice.)

And...it says "from your character's actions" - if one PC does two attacks on a turn, are they counted together or separately?

My impression, which may be wrong, is that finishing a memory combatant is a two-roll process, pretty much like zombies except that the players roll WIS to end them rather than the DM rolling a CON save to stand them back up:
1) Land any attack that zeroes them.
2) Roll a WIS check of (21 minus kill damage) to keep them down.

So if Oguun rolled 7 damage from Toll the Dead to zero out a memory and the memory fails a DC14 WIS save against Toll the Dead, then Oguun would finish if he made a (21-7=14) on a WIS check.

So hopefully memory-combatants have truly awful WIS.

I was assuming that the save is per attack, but if it's per PC turn, that would make a big difference for Geghard and Aurora.
