he didn't make it to the plank he tripped they talked to him.( for all we know as part dragon he maybe a natural swimmer) I set him up to make a port city theme more interesting. besides ain't you supposed to work towards over coming or atleast getting closer to doing so as you adventure?

It was a good try from Tolan. Too bad. At least we still have the actual magic item, though Gil might be disinclined to share it if he's too pissed.

He might if there's genuine need, but not until the Journey is out to sea. After the last scene, there's no way Gil would trust Storm not to flee with it while the Journey is still at the dock.

Just so you know, I'll probably wait to write Morgan after Storm has posted. She's not going to help Storm's position without being prompted to do so. Her standing with Schon is bad enough as is and Storm is behaving unpredictably, making her worry.
