Those were from an Artificer Infusion, so presumably gone now that that PC is elsewhere.

Someone needs to tell him what to do. It seems like we're just waiting and hoping that Duha finds water and nobody has the appetite for a stealth mission, in which case you can update without a post from Snap Kick.

I want to do the stealth thing with my boots of elvenkind, but here's where being a classic kenku has its drawback

Is Snap Kick just very easygoing/a follower, or is it the communication issue? If SK wants to do the theft, I would think he could communicate that pretty well nonverbally if necessary.

I think this is the current status re stealing:
- Briggs yes (?) - at least interested - it was his idea
- Arro abstain, since he's not much help
- Rhazor no, it seems
- CK unknown (?)
- SK...?

Edit: Speaking just OOC, the boots make a solo move by SK interesting, though certainly risky. Navigating the trail remains an issue. But that's all your call.

The next update will make that decision a lot easier. I'll get it up once I make my way down the stack of other games, though you could also just make a post for Snap Kick interacting with his party, I guess.

I will say though that I wouldn't mind if Snap Kick comes up with an "unoriginal" plan, or however you want to flavour it.

Yoshimi, do you actually prefer that the other PCs speak to SK like a henchman? Even with Arro, I've been stopping short of that.

If so, should we assume that the others know about his boots?

And most importantly, do I betray my age by referring to "henchman," a 1e concept?

"Henchmen" takes me back.

Minion (which is the RAW term) technically, which I guess is a pretty similar concept. He's a wise, experienced monk and his self-esteem after many adventures is too good to be treated like he has no agency at all. But having locked on to Arrogaio, Snap Kick would look favorably on his ideas, and would definitely follow his lead. And he can't do any creative thinking, which I have interpreted to mean he is capable of coming up with tactics but not strategy. So if you tell him to sneak into the camp and find water, he wouldn't need more detail than that.

But if you were abusive, rude, or morally incompatible he'd eventually unattach to Arrogaio. He also does take into account the opinions of others, he just weights Arrogaio's higher.

In this case Rhazor said definitively "no" to the stealth mission. So Snap Kick is like "okeedoke let's wait for the familiar to scout." Which meta-gamewise is not as fun as the riskier strategy but certainly safer.

Yes assume Confor told everyone about Snap Kick's boots before he went home.

It's probably time for me to note that Duha has indeed found some additional water which I'd mention in my next GM update.

Snap Kick is inclined to agree with Chakra. Attack the Yuan-ti and hopefully they will have water. Maybe we can get in a surprise attack.
