I find it rather funny that the RPXP window for this post now has a scroll bar, thank you everyone.

However, I still think the class is far from perfect, people have been telling me it is unbalanced "Because it just is". Ideas?

For actual balance...each power has far far too many advantages. Each level is like getting 2 or 3 levels in other PrCs.

Suggestions:

Air Guitar: Leave as is OR allow sound emulation.

Song Substitution(Metal): Leave as is

Mosh: Way too many advantages, features and feats. Perhaps grant Improved Bull Rush OR rage for a number of rounds equal to class level

Magic Guitar: Again, far too much. Split this into two abilities; one that summons a guitar at will (always have an instrument) and one that allows any guitar to be used as a weapon equiv to a +1 waraxe.

Solo: Too often. Make it something like a number of times per day equal to 3 + Con modifier (solos are draining)

Reputation: Leave as is.

Double Magic Guitar: Again, too much in one ability. Make it damage like a Large waraxe without sizing penalties, and give the bonus to perform for the summoned guitar only.

Improved Solo: Leave as is.

Gig: Way too powerful. Perhaps change this to 1/week/town he can setup a gig to make money and with a DC 25 perform check make gold equal to class level x amount check was over 25. (Ex: Jaxel, level 10 Metallist, rolls a 33 on his perform, so makes 80 gp [10x(33-25)]. Maybe put a weaker version of the suggestion as the Reputation ability.

Mosh Pit: Leave as is with a Will to resist if they choose.

ROCK ON!!: It is hard to kill them even when they are not on stage. I suggest just giving the Remain Conscious feat.

These are very restrictive- you would have to be at the very least level 5 before you can make a character fit into the stated prerequisites.

The mosh ability isn't very clear, and it needs a limit if it grants 3 feats. Also, the Gig ability, as it is now, doesn't make much sense. How would staging a concert be considered a spell-like ability and why would it require a class ability?

I would say the second part of Mosh is still a bit too powerful. I would limit the second option to Improved Bull Rush and Improved Trip. Since trip requires a weapon that allows trip attempts or an unarmed attack then that should balance it out since it is mostly an axe that is being used and you can't trip with one.

It is spell like as a complusion that forces people within the range to attend. Though I would add a bit more to this ability, Will DC 10+1/2 level+Cha mod to resist. Note that it is a mind-affecting ability (for those with resistance).

In keeping with other 10 level prestige classes, you might want to make it 10 + metallist level + cha for non-epic levels of the prestige class instead of level/2.
