And yes, I did notice the disclaimer. The other game DID get off the ground. LOP was the other DM. Blayz had to bow out but we got through a chapter (or so?) here and then went through a couple of chapters over at MW. It was an absolute riot and I hope to hell I get the opportunity to kick LOP's arse for deserting us all. And it's Silver Cord Insurance, not Assurance. But I'm sure you knew that ^_~

Ridin, the game is perfect for you, btw. If any DM can carry it off, it is certainly you.

Thank you for writing those nice things. In point of fact I never checked the original name, nor bothered to track down where the game had been played. I remembered reading a recruitment thread or something at some point. It was a good idea and had legs and featured a wide range of possibilities for player and DM creativity, which are most of the things I strive for in game settings. Who's LOP--? Lord of Pamsters (snort)?

I'm trying to be very careful with what I commit to. Social life is muted right now, but within a few weeks the bike will be under active repair and who knows when I'll start feeling like dating again? So, being careful here not to jump in too deep...

Time will tell. FWIW I have the plots of the next two or three already in mind. Also, I think Assurance sounds cooler than Insurance. Less common somehow. A gang of hobgoblins could set up an extortion ring in a neighborhood of brothels and call it an Insurance racket; but a Mercury Dragon would come up with something called Assurance.

That is true.

However, multiple solos is harder, generally, because it's N times as much work on the DM to keep each of the games running smoothly.

A difficult one, AxeMan!--is an Invisible pinky still Lit? For this combat, I'm ruling Yes, but that's because I'm being nice. I believe in fact something that has had Light cast on it and then Invisibility would no longer show its illumination. It'd be invisible illumination, see-able only by...um, other invisible things. Or something.
