This happened the day after we all settled in together for those lovely holidays. We are both, legally, adults.

My mother grinds her teeth when she gets stressed. She recentally had to stop chewing for a few months so that she could use them again.

I blame my brother.

Also, more practical, great road trip advice: While in Graceland, right next to Memphis, you need to eat on Beale street(Home of the Blues.) and park at Parking Can Be Fun, right next to this place. http://www.henryturley.com/office/office.php?property=5 (Parking Can Be Fun, the greatest parking garage in the world, does not seem to maintain a website, but is awesome enough to be mentioned in other peoples websites.)

ARG, if you're coming south on I-65, be careful when you cross the Ohio river - there is a really sharp curve in the road. We call it 'Hospital Curve'. It is dangerous if you exceed the speed limit.

We'll be on I-64 from West Virginia to Lexington, KY, where we'll pick up the Blue Grass Pkwy to Elizabethtown. Then I-65 south to Mammoth Cave NP, etc.

If I had to guess--and it is only a guess--we'll be in Hershey for evening of Jan 1. Jan 2 will be in transit to the Mammoth Cave area. So notionally, Axe, if you're free on the 2nd (I can't say what time), we can grab some lunch or dinner or whatever. I'll buy.

All conversation to be strictly PG owing to my cute little 8 year old.

Sorator, we'll be in Memphis the 3rd. Again I can't say what time exactly. Same offer stands; lunch, dinner etc., my treat. I think we'll be there for the afternoon and evening.

The trip is loosely organized as you can tell. No point getting too crazy about reservations and the where and when. It's just an American road trip.
