Also keep in mind that a large part of the storyline is the travel and discovery. OOCly we know that you still have 2/3rds or more of the land to cross.

Don't forget that Colorado Springs is underground, and there is a mile long magical lift/elevator from the city to the surface. The above ground "city" is generally kept clear of anyone not supporting the troops on the wall as it is primarily a ruse against attacks.

Also, Sakari isn't technically part of the adventuring group. She was a member of the city guard until a few days ago, when she left under something of a cloud, and joined the group down in the labs.

Just to note:

Rumors are already making their rounds about Sakari being seen coming back out of the labs with the outsiders (people from other cities is unheard of so is a big topic) but Hentsling would not have heard about that yet since he was on duty (only 4ish hours of IC time).

So does that mean that Hentsling didn't glide down to near where Sakari is? He came off the wall and then took a lift and then happened to run into someone fitting his sergeant's description of an adventurer. Is that the way I should have written it?

Feel free to edit this on...

We can either have him glide down to the lift, then glide the mile down to the city instead of taking the lift (if you want). Then he can glide to where Sakari would be at the base of the lift, OR glide to the guardhouse to hear that Sakari was with the outsiders then go to the base of the lift, OR glide to the Labor Office and meet EIG.

As for looking like adventurers...there are a lot of them in CS because of lab expeditions.

Edit done. I put in a short trip to the shaft, a float down, and arrival to where Sakari happens to be. It's mostly the same with the gap-stop explaining the shaft.
