Hahaha, pretty much, though they'll be cross-class skills for you (unless you've got Able Learner, which I can't remember if you do or not). It'd be easy to explain in RP, since he can research it or even learn first hand from Didina (or Alyyryk if he ends up sticking around/is deemed trustworthy).

I do have able learner, that's how I've managed to get so many of my non-wizard skill so high.
To be entirely honest if I hadn't been told "The knowledge guy position is filled (by LordSoul)" when creating him Morgan would probably have much fewer skills at much higher level but I kind of like how it worked out.
