Hah, someones never played a ranged character before!

You add your strength bonus to thrown weapons (i think?) but the only way to add damage to a bow is to have it Composite. Costs you 200gp +200/+1 rating. So a Composite +2 rated bow can only be pulled by someone with a +2 or higher strength bonus, and you can add that much damage onto the base damage.

Give it a few levels, and some gold and you'll be shooting for say...

At level 4 with Deadly Aim, +2 rated composite greatbow: 1d10 +2 str +4 deadly aim

Then if its also magic...

The first lvl spell Mount, its in my spellbook. I got it from the Srd. The appearance is just flavour, but if I can;t tweak it that's fine. Just thought it would be cool. Like Boar ripping a spider in half.
