Hogwarts Style Roleplay?

I was looking over the roleplay book for Kids on Brooms and I would love to GM an adventure similar to Harry Potter. Creating mini-adventures that go through the years would be absolutely fun. However, I obviously noted that the game itself does not have an SRD, and it appears that we do not support the sheet on this site.

Has anyone come across a good roleplay game that would work well within this type of setting/game?

Many ways to go about it, honestly with the investigation being the main focus, you could do it in many systems. There are many free fan conversions using various systems.

I would translate it to Cortex Prime focusing on relationships and solving mysteries.
Someone made a pbta conversion, the Hogwarts TTRPG which is free and easy to use.

Thank you!

I did see someone created a convertible version of DnD 5e too. Lots of different systems it seems.

I'm currently in a game that's basically a My Hero / Harry Potter mash up, and we've been using Pathfinder for the whole thing.

The beauty of play by post is that mechanics take a back seat to the narrative in all the games I'm in.

If you're looking for recommendations however. 5e is the most popular, but there is also a dedicated contingent of FATE players and as one of the few generic systems I like, I bet you'd do well advertising a game of it

You could also try looking for a PbtA hack as there are free fan hacks of pretty much anything you can imagine out there. I'd be shocked to find there isn't a HP clone out there somewhere
