Hello, adventurer. We are here representing the chillest book club you could ever want.

You may have heard about this club. Every month, gamers gather to discuss a book that has been chosen based on a suggestion, or a theme, or a recent event, or the whims of the gods. You join by showing up in the thread to talk about it. Probably you read it, but you are also welcome to simply explain why you will never read it, or even why it should be burned, or what you think of the cover, or who should star in the movie version.

This recent bestseller tells the story of two game designers, "Sam and Sadie, often in love, but never lovers, who become creative partners in a dazzling and intricately imagined world of game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality." Choosi doesn't pressure you. There is no formal sign up or commitment. You can drop in, drop out, come as you are. Next month's book not your jam? Fine. Skip. Got a book burning a hole in your mind and you want to talk about it? Come by and throw it in the hopper.

The inaugural book, JOURNEY TO THE WEST, was chosen because Wynamoinen put up an ad in Games Seeking Players for a module from the Uncaged anthology of DnD Adventures. The club has also recently read some J.R.R. Tolkien because the new show with Hot Galadriel came out. It has dipped into classic sci fi and horror, explored modern retellings of myths, gotten on the bandwagon with the hottest dork-fiction currently on the bestseller lists, looked at the short stories that inspired the classic RPGs---even read some poetry. Most selections have a connection to gaming or nerd culture, and are often chosen via a theme-of-the-month.

Speaking of which, Choosi asks, Are you playing the Scavenger hunt?

He opens a thick tome, flips through the find the right page, and reads the scavenger hunt clue aloud to you.
