What kind of actions are Wildshape and Battle Trance? Bonus Actions? Attack Actions?

Wildshape (as druid, except no flying, swimming, or burrowing until tier 2. Max CR equal to tier. Finally, you use your own HP pool, but can wildshape at will with no maximum duration)

im thinking of making an acrobat thief type character. Does sneak attack still require piercing weapons?

Wild shape is an action, unchanged from the original. I don't have a bonus action option for it yet, though...

Battle Trance is a bonus action.

Sneak Attack didn't require piercing weapons to begin with, just finesse weapons.

Though you have armor and a weapon without spending gold. You should only have one, and the other has a cost.

A lot of combat focus in all of these characters. I mean, I know most of the abilities are combat focused, but still, we could use some more utility, especially since it's about exploration of ruins and dungeons (with some social encounters if you go for that in the Ten Cities (and maybe beyond?))

Yeah, Ghost looks complete to me. Missing a tool, though.

A few questions:
I know the custom lineage gives everyone a ground speed of 30. Do you think it might be appropriate to make an exception for a mermaid?

Start with five tier 1 abilities, and proficiency in the following: four skills, one simple weapon, light armor, a tool or language, and two saving throws (one of Dex, Con, or Wis, and one of Str, Int, or Cha). Also start with 5 gp, 5 days of rations, a waterskin, a tool with which you are proficient (likely because it was something you used for your job), and (armor, a shield, or a weapon) with which you are proficient worth no more than 20gp.

With unarmed defense and cantrips, I need almost no gear. Is there any way I can finagle a 15 gpcart and 8 gpmule out of this? Can I have my tool proficiency be in land vehicles?

Mermaids are definitely impractical in this setting, but maybe 15' ground speed, 30' swim speed? And vehicles proficiency is okay. As for the cart and mule, it belongs to the party, but I guess you can have one, with everyone having saved up for it. (You're also short a feat from Custom Lineage)
