I have to point out that we can not afford ranged weapons and the only finesse simple weapon is dagger.
making a dex build rather difficult. (personally id like to finesse a quarterstaff like a monk)

Really curious about how this will play. A few questions.

1. Metamagic at level 1 with Blood Magic or do we have to wait until level 3 to use it?
2. For Basic Spellcasting, when you say a spell sot for 1 and 2 do you mean that it is a single spell slot that can hold lvl 1 or 2 spells? Or do you mean it's adding onto the level 1 and 2 spell slots already?
3. For custom lineage do you want us to choose between dark vision and a skill proficiency, or just ignore that completely and follow along with what you gave us?
4. Do I need to have a shied if I play a spellcaster, and what does that mean for gold?
5. What do you want us to do for background?
6. As a custom race feat, what if I were to take Metamagic adept? How does that play with your Blood Magic?
7. I know that some classes use a particular spellcasting ability, so for something that says "Add Cha mod to____" for sorcerer, would I instead use the chosen spellcasting ability with Basic Spellcasting?

That said, I really do like this idea and enjoyed character generation a lot more than I probably should have - support build go! Nevertheless I think Calla's pretty much done save for going over everything with a fine-toothed comb to root out all those pesky spelling errors or to fix anything that I did incorrectly on the mechanical front.

Blood Magic is Metamagic at 1st level.
One spell slot each for 1st and 2nd level spells.
Skill or darkvision, I just expanded the options.
No one needs a shield; you have it as one of three choices.
Background just take flavor stuff, if you want. No skills or anything from it (that's already factored in).
Metamagic Adept is fine, it just will have a seperate pool of sorcery points as usual instead of using hit dice.
I hadn't even thought about that, but yeah, use your spellcasting mod.

I didn't see damage listed for Mind Limbs. Do you have to take Fighting Style: Unarmed Fighting in order to take this ability?

You don't have to take it, but it will improve the damage. By default, they do the normal unarmed damage.

-Well.. I've been know to be browsing the markets for good deals (pickpocket) and selling them to upstanding businessmen over at the docks. I'll also took part in some neighbourhood watch activities, rooftop activities to be precise, distributing goods as I saw fit. But not much of a dawn to dusk worker, no. I'm one of the last to leave the orphanage so my experience is limited.

Appearance: I'm the runt of the pack. I'm short and have a lean physique. My dirty blond hair sticks out in all possible directions and I don't have much of facial hair yet. A bit scruffy from the neck up, but I dress dapper, I think. I feel it's important to look good and you will probably see me dressed in brown pants, a black vest and a white shirt underneath. I do own a mask that covers my entire head except for the eyes, and I have a dark coat with many pockets sewn on the inside, but those are just to keep me warm, you hear?
