Also, what role do you have in mind for your character in the party? Is your character martial-oriented or magic-oriented? Or is he a jack-of-all-trades who can take any role (but does not specialize in any of them)?

He'll likely fit in a Skill Monkey role. Not sure that is Jack of all trades, per se, but he will be a decent face and will use ranged attacks augmented by Painful Stare while using spells to support himself and others. I guess Jack of most trades fits hehe.

He'll be stealthy and gain access to Disable Device via a Trait.

Would Trap Finder be allowed? If not, I'll take Vagabond Child as second best to gain Disable Device as a Class Skill.

Any more interested in joining? Just so you know, having a paladin around would be great. Having an Oathbound Paladin Against Corruption is probably even better. Because Lovecraftian horror and all that.

Only problem with a paladin would be the alignment not matching the rest of the party, potentially. But I haven't been paying attention to the alignment of applications, so it could be fine.

That kind of paladin does sound fun, though.

Well, you don't want a party of echo chamber, do you? There's gotta be different opinion. There's gotta be DRAMA! Conflicts regarding morality and stuff like that. But I also understand why you don't want to be different in alignment with the rest of the party.

Also, people of different alignments can get along well with each other, you know?

As long as everybody plays their Alignment in a responsible way of course!

Also, thanks to Divine Grace, paladins will certainly get decent saving rolls to survive the game.

A few questions as I wrestle with build ideas:

1) Gunslingers are banned. Should I assume this means firearms as a whole are banned as well? Firearms in the hands of Mesmerists are pretty awesome.

2) Do you object if we acquire and read the Strange Aeons player's guide? It's free on the Paizo website.

2) Not at all. In fact, I encourage you to read the player's guide. It's a player's guide, after all.
