Name: Seana Nevin
Class(es): Cleric of Heironeous 1 / Paladin of Heironeous 6
Age: 24
Alignment: Lawful Good
Deity (incl. the times you pray): Heironeous, morning prayers, with random devotions throughout the day as appropriate

Description (5 - 10 lines):
To say that Seana was fair and pretty would be understated, she is neither tall nor bulky but has a presence about her that once can only call confident and makes you easily associate her with a warrior even if you hadn't seen her sword. She has straight red hair which hangs loosely down past her shoulders, evenly spaced eyes that are green with flecks of gold near the iris and darker around the edges. Her skin is fair and light with only a smattering of freckles upon her cheek bones, a slightly jutting rounded chin with an oval face. Preferring the greater mobility she favors lighter armors, and her clothes heavily tend towards the earthier tones of greens, greys and browns that are both flattering and fitted but of a sturdy nature. Her sword hilt appears equally as fanciful with the pommel done in the shape of slightly blossomed rose and carries a shield slung across her back with a lightning bolt prominently displayed on the shield seemingly polished more than the surrounding metal.

Background (5 - 10 lines):
Sean's parents were modest in their upbringing and station, with her father a long time member of the watch known for his fairness and honesty ensuring he was well liked by those who respected the law and avoided by those who frequently broke it, her mother was a seamstress of some talent that made a modest living using those talents to mend and craft clothes. Her family were devotees of Heironeous and attended services regularly to give thanks for his efforts in bring justice and honor to the world about them. Even if her family hadn't been devoted there is a good chance she would have anyways, she had an in depth desire for honor and she inherited her father's sense of fairness and justice, and speaking of such maters she took service with the church when she came of age.

Having successfully completed training and becoming a priestess she was then selected for a more martial path given her aptitude for bladework and a need within the order for those to serve in this capacity, Seana found this lifestyle agreed with her sensibilities and while she may not have been the best blade she was one of the most rounded of the applicants. After completing her training she carried out various assignments for the order ranging from guard duties, serving with the watch and special tasks that required a lighter touch.

An short example of your playing style (5 - 10 lines):
Using her right hand Seana tucked the stray red hairs behind her ear and then slipped down the side of Tone giving him a gentle pat on the neck, he was such a strong horses and she couldn't imagine her life before him and took every opportunity to assure him that he was appreciated, she didn't bother to tether him to the post as Tone was not one to wonder unnecessarily and restraining him seem cruel. Taking the few stairs up on to the heavy wooden landing that served as the entrance way to the inn she paused for a moment listening to the already bustling crowd inside, she expected many of them to be local crafters and apprentices who might be having a drink before heading home, more importantly she hoped that Thalis would be inside for the church had tasked her with bringing him back. Pushing her way through the door she got a few looks as any new comer would, and a few stares that lingered though whether it was at the sword at her side or her looks it wasn't always easy to tell, all the same she glanced about the room and didn't see any sign of Thalis and with a sigh approached the bar in hopes that the innkeeper might have seen him. She waited a few moments while he finished loading a serving girl's tray before he worked his way down to the end of the bar where she waited and with a smile he hung his drying rag across his shoulder.

"I am looking for man by the name of Thalis, about average height, black hair, and would have a cut that looked recent along the left side of his neck, perchance have you seen him?"

Name: Dorin Fulmer Uglani Nora De'Salvor
Race: Gnome
Class(es): Bard 7
Age: 97
Alignment: Chaotic Good if possible with Fharlanghn, otherwise Chaotic Neutral.
Deity Fharlanghn. Prays at morning before donning armor and at evening after removing armor, as well as any time setting out on a journey that will take longer than a few hours.

Description: Just over 3 feet tall, Dorin's skin is a dirty green color, with yellow tattoos snaking all over. He wields a wooden shield and a sword. Dorin rides a dog that's half dalmatian, half great Dane. He's got it armored and has installed two drums on its shoulders for use in his performances. His buckler also functions as a drum. Dorin speaks with a slight orcish accent. He stylizes his hair like an orc, wears yellow contacts, and sometimes even uses fake orcish fangs.

A lover of indigenous cultures, Dorin has spent time living with various tribes - goblins, Bugbears, Ogres, etc.

Background Dorin was raised by Orcs. He doesn't know what happened to his parents, but he believes that they were killed shortly after he was born. At the age of 25 he became the tribal war drummer. Even though he was just a youth, he was still older than the Orcish warriors and it was time for him to contribute. He also became the negotiator for the clan against foreign clans and governments.

By the time he was forty Dorin had outlived everyone who he'd known as a kid. There was a bloody change in leadership of the clan, and Dorin found himself fleeing the tribe for his life. Upon reaching civilization, he started learning everything he'd lacked growing up, and performing traditional Orcish musical numbers to support himself...

playing style Here's a post in one of my games that should be indicative of my playing style.

Name: Shade
Race: "Half-Human" (Half-Elf)
Class(es): Druid 5/ Rogue 2
Age: 33
Alignment: NG
Deity (incl. the times you pray): The Anima (Modified Obad-Hai) - NG - Air, Animal, Earth, Fire, Plant, Water. The Anima is the genderless deity of nature. It's symbol is an eight-spoked wheel, sometimes with an hourglass, sun or moon in the center. There are four times a day one can pray to The Anima and all have different meanings. To pray at dawn is to pray for new beginnings. To pray at midday is to pray for current endeavors. To pray at dusk is to put a close to things. To pray at midnight is to pray for things unspoken.
Description (5 - 10 lines): Shade is a rather curious being, standing at 5' 6" and weighing 130lbs. Shade's lean build is hidden beneath both armor and cloak. Shade has a very youthful complexion, with skin like winter, hair the color of autumn leaves and eyes as green as summer's grass. Shade's voice is as genderless as their form, yet soothing and charismatic. Preferring clothing of a more natural hue, Shade has been known to add splashes of vivid -almost floral- color to their wardrobe, usually in the form of a ribbon or other such item used to tie the braided hair that has not been cut in thirteen years and is only washed under a new moon.
Background (5 - 10 lines): Shade grew up in the Eastern Elven Empire in a small forested village called Oakenheart. Having been born of the union of the Elven ranger Shay Aurora Moonwhisper of the Silver Run Defenders and the traveling inventor Xiang Mu from the Far Eastern Empire of the Xing Dynasty, Shade was always the outcasted child of the community. Having very little friends, Shade made due finding some of their own in the form of the animals of the woods surrounding the village. Having been able to speak with animals from a young age, Shade's new friends taught more about the world than anyone in Oakenheart could have. This only alienated young Shade more and eventually Shade withdrew into the wilds and became somewhat of a witch, at least until the constant stream of pranks from local children drove Shade to leave the little hut called home and venture out into the world. Shade traveled far and saw much. Heading into Norstejnlandet and getting a feel for the people and lands before ultimately deciding these were not in agreement with Shade and heading down into the Eastern Dynasty to find Xiang Mu. The cities here were even less agreeable than the north had been- Shade would almost say distasteful- and the time spent with Xiang Mu only made things worse. Shade was neither the strong, inventive son he wanted nor the quiet, obedient daughter he didn't. Shade quickly learned how many devices here worked- if only to free Shade from the prison that the people here so willingly placed around themselves. How could one favor metallic contraptions to nature? And Shade was tired of the pickpockets that ran a muck here and made use of the quick eyes and dexteric hands that nature bestowed upon their supple form. Having been exiled from the lands of the father, Shade headed for the sea, to learn of the great mysteries that could be found there. To smell the salt in the wind and to see the creatures of the ocean.
An short example of your playing style (5 - 10 lines): Shade's bare feet had walked along the piers of Frydenfurt all day, and Shade was in a feeling of mixed emotion. Partly, Shade was glad to feel the seabreeze and the saltwater on one's skin. Mostly, Shade was disappointed at how this city, like so many others away from Oakenheart, relied on contraptions of stone and metal and did away with things like sand and grass. It was in this disappointed state that Shade had entered the Lucky Marlin in hopes of at least finding something to eat that didn't contain fish -or any other meat for that matter. Why were people so obsessed with murdering and devouring nature? Shade knew it wasn't an evil act to them -and held no ill will against them for it, but still found it disdainful. When a salad was provided- and tea, to boot!- Shade was able to find a smile to wear and ate and drank the unhappiness away.

But what was this the people near were saying about a Possessed Child? A Naval Memorial? Shade couldn't help but to listen in a bit closer.

Name: Avernus Timpleton
Race: Human
Class: Wizard 8
Age: 29
Alignment: Neutral Good
Deity: (All) Avernus does not worship a particular deity. He prays each morning, but to no one god. "May the gods receive my prayer and grant me safe passage today." - Normal daily prayer.

Background: Avernus has studied magic ever since he was young, looking through tomes and other works. Avernus's main focus is on the differences between Arcane and Divine magic, he shows others that they can become strong without prayer. Not to diminish the gods existence, but to let people know prayer alone can't always save them.

"This magic its different, Thompson! It flows through my body and out of my fingertips like a lightning bolt." Avernus said to his friend a priest at the Pelor temple. "Yours flows through the wooden thing, a umm, umm, ahhh..." Avernus stammered to find the word. "Holy symbol." Thompson added. "That's the word. Its different entirely I haven't prayed in days yet when I call upon the spells I know from my book they answer my call. If you stopped praying would magic come to your aid?" Thompson shook his head in disbelief at what he was hearing. "No, but the magic I use means that Pelor is hearing my pleas for aid." Avernus sat in his spinny chair and relaxed. "That's the problem, everyone is waiting for beings from whole other planes to send them help, whilst we can be out there teaching them to swing a sword or shoot fireballs. Its like telling people if you pray hard enough the ogres slaughtering your family will die... Eventually of like old age or something." Thomson looked down onto Avernus in his chair. "I can kill an ogre with prayer." The wizard fixed his glasses and looked up. "I'm sure you can, but not everyone can use magic. So, telling everyone praying makes their dreams come true is kind of ridiculous." Thompson turned around and left Avernus's office. "If you keep saying things like that the gods will shun you." With Thompson now gone and the room quiet Avernus prayed to the gods. "Do not shun me I only wish for people to stand on their own feet and not rely upon others. Praise be to the Pantheon."
