Plot SummaryThe Legendary Planet Adventure Path is published by Legendary Games and is grounded in the Sword-and-planet genre like John Carter from Mars and other science fantasy tales.

At the beginning of the AP, your characters start as abductees of an unknown entity in an unknown location. For the sake of your background, you got abducted by unknown creatures and now wake up in the AP.

The AP ranges from level 2 to level 20, exploring various planets and dealing with physical, mental and social challenges.

Seeking 4 to 5 players.

Races allowed: New alien races presented in the Legendary Planet player guide, Races found in Paizo books up to 20 RP are available. Dreamscarred psionic races are available as well.

Languages and Communication: Common will serve as the universal language, other Alien languages will be introduced in the AP.

Alignment: Good and Neutral characters work best for this AP.

Deities: The Legendary AP has a list of deities available and if you are interested in worshiping a certain kind of deity, I'm sure that we can find a deity matching your character beliefs.

Classes: Beside Paizo Pathfinder classes including Unchained classes, the following classes are allowed in this AP:

-Psionics from Dreamscarred Press
-Godlings, Adept and Clever in particular will work well for this AP
-Legendary Classes (In particular Cyborgs from the AP Plugin) from Legendary Games fit well in the setting
-Machinesmith from Louis Porter Jr would find a good reason to be in the AP

Companions: Note you won't have your animal companion and equivalent at the beginning of the AP but will join you shortly after your successful escape.

Level and gold: The AP starts at Level 2, 20 point buy for your ability scores and you have 1000 gp.

Traits: one campaign trait and one trait of your choice.

Appearance: Camborg is six foot two, slender and bald, with a bulging and bulbous head knobbed with small glowing blue orbs set within a web-like pattern of steel stripes crisscrossing with crystalline threads. His eyes are yellow, his skin color a construct’s unnatural grey. They pattern of crystal and metal threads throughout his entire body, ending in finger and toenails that alternate between steel and pale crystal. He is dressed for adventuring, in a chain shirt and two cross-crossed bandoliers of grenades.

Background: Camborg was fabricated by a small guild of alchemist-forgeborns, raised among craftsmen who acted as pure mercenaries, selling augments, drugs and concoctions to all who came. As a young construct, he grew fascinated with flammable substances and explosions, becoming quite the firebug.

He was constructed as a Processor and trained as a mindchemist, educated to be a repository of knowledge and analysis among his guild. But growing disillusioned with what he saw as his kindred’s dead-end isolationist role as sedentary fabricators, he struck out on his own to see the cosmos. He traveled far and wide, visiting many worlds, absorbing knowledge, a stranger in a strange land. Now middle aged (for his race), at age 50, he has served as an adjunct to varied military groups, specializing as a cultural attache, assisting with analysis, research and investigations for a diverse range of missions: aiding government, mercantile and mercenary companies alike find the answers that would aid them.

Personality: with a brilliant analytical intellect and considerable reserves of knowledge, Camborg thinks and acts with precision, depth of insight, and generally flawless memory. He prefers to think his way through challenges, acting as an advisor and counselor with detached objectivity. If it must come to combat, well, his youthful enthusiasm with bombs and incendiary devices comes to the fore, as there is still a bit of mad bomber to him.

Camborg loves learning, discovery, and puzzle solving: these are strong drives, almost to the point of addiction with him. He is a natural team-player, not a leader but one who knows his place as a follower, and when he is on mission, he is a loyal supporter. Beyond his insatiably curious wanderlust, he does not have larger allegiances, however. He is not persistently attached at this time cause or purpose, whether moral, or race or cause.

Certainly sounds interesting! I'll have to look through some of the options to come up with an idea.

I see you mentioned psionics by Dreamscarred press, would you also allow their Path of War classes?

Question. Is it safe to assume that while some of the character's cultures are aware of the existance of other life in space that others are not? Also, do we have some say in the planet of our origin, as in can we design it, or do we need to come from one already existing within the AP?

PaleShadow: Would prefer to not use PoW classes for this AP.

Taleteller: Yeah some are definitely not aware of any kind of aliens and the likes, I believe even some of the campaign traits posted above imply such things. You can design your planet/culture. Stopping by your planet is an option during this AP.
