Could it be multi-layered for warmth? Like putting several warm shirts under the outer layer, etc.

I've tried to adjust for the setting by having his kimono (winter) be the equivalent of a jacket for warmth. If you prefer, he could always wear a winter jacket over his samurai-inspired clothing. Just let me know.

I feel like the winter jacket over the clothing is probably the best choice in all honesty, as Animal Mutants would have come from Genlab Alpha anyhow, so their clothing wouldn't have been put together for the extreme outside weathers.

Here is the start of things. Have to fill out the sheet stuff (awesome work, Watcher) and the like but this is what I'm working with.

Pucho "Porkchop" Ponika
Mutant Slave, Butcher and Chef

Appearance: Porkchop is a large man; corpulent if you are kind, fat if you aren't. Being a cook has the advantage of extra food and he certainly shows the results of it. His skin is often oily with rough pits and crags from mistreatment. Rotting teeth fill a mouth closed off by bulbous lips. He is always soaked in sweat, grease or blood dependant on the activities of the day.

Specifics- Face: Rough
- Body: Ape-Like
- Clothes: Dirty Coveralls, Torn Hoodie, Thick Hide Jacket, Scuffed Workboots.

Attribute Scores:
- Strength: 4
- Agility: 3
- Wits: 3
- Empathy: 4
Skill Levels:
- Specialist SkillShake it Off: 1
- Endure: 2
- Force: 2
- Fight: 2
- Know the Zone: 2
- Heal: 1
Talents: When rolling to Endure, each 6 gives you a +1 modification to your next roll. This must be used on your next action.Rebel

And here is mine so far:

Hauer
Appearance
left-aligned image

Appearance: Hauer is a fairly nondescript man of medium height and build. He has blond hair, a wiry muscular frame, and more than his fair share of scars. If his frosty blue eyes ever held any mirth, it has long been stolen away by the cold wasteland that he calls home. His clothing is a patchwork of scrounged materials that range from cloth and burlap to leather and steel. At rest he is quiet and still. When he moves it is with a purposeful determination that leads many to erroneously think him moon-brained or stupid.

Character
Character Type: Mutant
Role: Enforcer
Attribute Scores:
STR: 5
AGI: 3
WIT: 4
EMP: 2
Skills:
Endure 3
Fight 3
Know the Zone 2
Intimidate 2
Talents: Sucker Punch (the Weapon Damage of your unarmed attacks is 2 instead of 1)
Mutation: Flame Breather
You can spew out flammable gases and ignite them
on the way through your gullet to create a deadly
cascade of fire.
You can:
- Set fire to a flammable object. Costs 1 MP.
- Spew fire at an enemy at up to Near range.
- You inflict damage equal to the number of MP you spend.
- Breath fire at a number of enemies equal to MP spent. Each one takes one point of damage.

For the people already in the game, you can find the game forum here: https://www.rpgcrossing.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17558
I'll be adding the link to the front of the ad itself, however now is probably a good time to get thinking on your further character-creation stuff.

If we can get at least one more member we should be ready to really get into the set-up stage, then we can progress on.

Excited to try out a new setting and game.

There's also some book starter kits for free available, which cover character creation and items and some basics to get started, so there isn't a need to go out and buy all the material before trying it out.

Players can do that after, once they fall in love with the game.

Ahah, well I think I've gotten to grips the basic of how rolls work, not what I'm used to, but keeps things interesting.

Is there still room for one more player? I just finished the video game adaptation, and while I don't know anything about the tabletop game, I'm eager to try it out.

I just played through that myself. Pretty slick, right? Definitely got my interest piqued.

I believe we are in the market for a fourth body to die horribly in the Zone with us.

I believe there's room for 1-2 more, even.

Also, is the game good? Is there a lot of exploring options, or is it more guided? 5-10 hours playthrough or more?

There is a specific story you are working on, a goal in place for you, but you aren't pushed toward it by any mechanic so you are free to wander. Exploring the zone sectors is fun because they put a lot of work into the aesthetic and there are lots of little things you run across that really cement the setting. The characters are interesting and well voiced and I had trouble picking a favorite three to travel with most often. Fortunately you can switch on the fly.

It is a turn-based combat game with a focus on stealth elements to allow for positioning your group to best effect before a fight. More akin to the old Commandos games than X-Com. Also, on any difficulty above Normal (which is the lowest) it is punishingly tough. If you're a fan of the turn-based strategy genre you may really dig into that. On Normal it was decently challenging but not controller-throwing hard.

I played it on Xbox Game Pass so it didn't cost me a thing and one playthrough took me roughly 30ish hours. That includes wandering and exploration that wasn't required for following the main quest. I'd say it's a solid $30-40 game with decent replay if you enjoy exploring different tactics and squad combos.
