I had a free hour and went through what was there. Not sure when Barlycorn is starting the actual game.

Thanks for pointing that out. turns out I forgot the +2 to any stat humans get. I'll update it as soon as I decide what stat needs it.

Also, an everburing torch will have it's cost doubled, right?

trait: Carefully hidden. You gain a +1 trait bonus to Will saves and a +2 trait bonus to saving throws versus divination effects.
feat 1: Sneaky vagabond. You get a +2 bonus on Stealth checks when others are actively trying to find you. In crowds, this bonus increases to +4. Additionally, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy and Knowledge (Local) checks when trying to find a place to hide.
feat human: Exotic Weapon Proficiency (bastard sword)
no flaw.

Avelestar has been doing an awesome (and invaluable to me) job with all of this. My relative 'newness' to the system means it would take me twice as long to do what he has done. Plus, to be honest, it has never been my strong suit or my favorite part of DMing.


Gaijin, I like your second, more subtle stat array better but I probably would not have vetoed the first. The problem is, we'll see how things pan out, but this may turn out to be a relatively gritty game. In that case a low ability score could hurt you more than a high one will help you.


One quick note about the setting, It is a "low" magic setting in that magic has been outlawed in past years and many items have been destroyed (think "books" in Farenheit 451). You will not easily find magic shops and what black market ones you do find will be limited in their selection and pricey. That being said, there is magic out there and there are items to be found, especially by adventurers such as yourselves. Who knows what wonders the quakes have unearthed.


I will get to everyone's questions. Please bear with me and know that Avelestar has my full support. He is definately the rules guy (although he will be heavily involved with content, too, if he wants ).

I had extra money and saw some folks with mounts. So... I bought a light wagon, 6 donkeys, 8 chickens and barrel of ale (screw you group 1 you miss out on the tailgating.).
