Ok, here is an update.

My promotion at work has quickly changed from "do a new job" to "do three people's jobs through April 27th". This is putting a great deal of stress on my available free time. It isn't that I don't have time to post, it's just that I won't necessarily be able to predict how frequently or exactly when that time will manifest itself. Consequently, any deadline I set for a post may well disappear into the rear view mirror before I actually get to do the posting.

So what I can currently offer is that the game will continue fitfully, with potentials stops and starts and gaps between posts. I'd like to think that I can still do at least two posts a week but I don't want to keep saying "I will post tomorrow" and then not post tomorrow. Nobody likes inconsistent posting and we've probably all seen it kill games in the past.

I really like this adventure and I think we have a solid group to play through it. That said, if you guys feel like the fatigue of an inconsistent post rate is going to ruin the game for you I'd understand a withdraw.

When I join a game, I know it's for the long haul. I expect there to be ups and downs, times where it's hard for anyone to think up something to post, and then times when everything clicks and we all go into a posting frenzy. Inconsistency and lulls aren't going to drive me away. The only thing I care about is that the game keeps going.

On an IC-related note, if I read the information right, then those of us swimming need to make a minimum of 10 checks, correct? One for getting to the reef, 8 to catch 4 crabs, and the perception check. I just wanted to check I got that right.

Technically, no. You will all need to make the check to get out there, and the Perception check, but in theory one person could do all the crab collection if they wanted. Or two people. You can work that out among your group. The reef is tall enough in spots to allow you to stand with your head above water so you don't need to tread water. Well, everyone else can do that. Tiny man will have to get some help.

Yes. He would not be required to make any swimming checks unless he was trying to do something fancy.

Who wants to catch crabs? I was going to start with 8 survival checks, though if people have trouble swimming for some reason, I can do more.

I have a crappy swim and a good dex, so I may need help if I roll low on swim checks, otherwise I should be good. I'll at least try for one crab.

Also, I never heard what Kev found from Day 10 for searching the crew's quarters, PCB.

Erm, Dracon... I think you need to roll 7 or 8 swim checks, though hopefully I'm wrong. I didn't roll for Bharash, because he has a swim speed of 30 ft.
