@Panthas - I wouldn't worry about going out of turn too much right now. The conversation isn't flowing particularly quickly, and everyone has had a chance to post if they wanted to by now, so feel free to put up whatever you want while we wait for the DM update.

Anyone know what site etiquette demands the wait time be before declaring a game dead? It's been close to two weeks since Glor has been on. Not the longest I've seen DMs vanish before re-appearing, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous right now.

Hey all,

It has been three weeks since glorfinmad has been logged on the site, so I'm afraid the game may be dead.

I however, would like to know if people are still interested in playing kingmaker? I have a real life friend of mine who is on the site that I was talking to over the weekend. He told me that all of the games he has been accepted in have died, so I asked him if he had thought of Gming before. He said that he has and was considering putting up one of the pathfinder adventure paths, because he has all of the modules for quite a few of them. Kingmaker is included. He has all six modules, and if there is enough interest would most likely take over the game right where we are at the moment.

His name on here is shadesoul if you would like to look him up.

Hello All,

Well, as Tuscarora has said I would be more than willing to try and take on this game. I'm a huge fan of Pathfinder, and the Kingmaker path in particular is one I've wanted to run for some time. Now, I must warn you of something. Though I have a fair amount of experience with DMing, I've never done it in a pbp system like this. I'll have to ask your patience in the beginning, but if you'll work with me I'll do my utmost to ensure it's something to remember.

So, once again, thanks to those who've already said their willing. I'll be submitting a request to the admins later today, and I'll keep you informed as things progress.

Thanks for checking in Shadesoul. Pbp does take a little adjustment, but I'd say as long as you have patience and can avoid chronic writer's block (not as easy as some would think), I'd imagine you'll do fine Let us know when you hear back from the admins.

If you would, please copy your character apps from this thread and paste it in my character threads. In an effort to not keep referring back to this game, I'm just going to start you with my first post as you enter the trading post. Any RP you did between each other on the way is still fine, and we can keep that. But that will just be between those involved.

One exception - some of you encountered a character named Myrrdin. This character, as one of Glorfinmad's creation, I can't in all fairness bring over. So he will not exist in the other game, though you will learn much of what he had to say at another time from another being.

Aside from that, I look forward to GMing you! I hope you enjoy it at least as much as I will.

By the way, as epelj1 has not been on since before the 5th, in the effort to ensure that the game moves smoothly, I'm bringing in another player - ClaireMoondancer. This is nothing against epelj1, as if they return I'll be happy to work them back into the game. After all, the more the merrier. But this way the game can start moving forward once everyone is ready.
