[OOC] Oleg's Trading Post - OOC Thread

Feel free to keep discussing strategy. You can do it here if you want to be more free and then post your final plan either here or in the thread. When you have one I will move the day forward and we'll see what the bandits have to offer!

What do you guys think of this:

I think I'll have Darian on his horse just inside the storage pens (A4). I can watch through the doorway from an angle, when they come into the open area I'll call out my challenge to one of them (preferably the leader, or at least the meanest-looking one), charge out to blow something up and then it's "on" from there.

@Togot, were you suggesting in your post to have everyone including Darian in the storage pens, and just you in the stables? That was my take-away from reading it, I just want to make sure.

@Belros, are the ceilings in A4 tall enough for a horse and rider to hang-out in there?

Only other thing I can really think of, and I can do this In-Game: I suggest we move the wagon out of the way, or it could mess with me having a clear path to charge somebody. The more wide-open the battlefield, the better I think it'll work out for me in terms of options.

What do you mean, 'blow something up?' I don't think oleg would appreciate us destroying his buildings. And I don't want kai in a building you guys set on fire.

Yes, the more people hiding in the stables, the more likely we'll get spotted. Since oleg didn't say anything about them going into the storage pens, the rest of the group should be relatively safe from detection.

@Geldar - it is tall enough to allow him to sit his mount and hide in there.

Waiting on doggius and Hanz to weigh in and then you all post a final plan in game. From there we can roll with fighting some baddies!

Actually guys, we might be able to use that wagon strategically in some way, I just don't want it interfering with my charging.
@Togot, I don't know if hiding in the wagon rather than the stables might appeal to you? Might give you higher-ground advantage, if you do some kind of jumping-into-action kung-fu move or something.

I just need some details posted in-game and then I can get us rolling. I also need to know if you want to move the wagon or not.

Will you let them into the trading post or attack as soon as they get to the gate?

As I stated in my last In-Game post (sorry if I didn't make it clear though), Darian will still move the wagon as prescribed unless somebody suggests we do something to the contrary in that regard.

Congrats on your Wildcats beating the Cardinals! I'm a Razorback fan but when it comes tourney time I root for the SEC. It was good to see you guys beat Pitino's boys.

If anyone has any last minute changes to the plan they should post in-game where Geldar has summarized things. Here's what I understand it to be:

1. Move the wagon to the side of the bldg on the left.
2. Allow the bandits to enter the fort while you all hide. I need to know where everyone will plan on hiding.
3. At some point, please tell me when, Diana will grease the bandits and they will hopefully fall to the ground.
4. At that point, do you plan on attacking? Giving them warning and offering surrender? What happens then?

If we can get these things answered then I can post in the morning.
